  2. Congrats... your right after me. Keep moving and sippin.
  3. Thanks guys for the info. I am going to try to boost up my walking. But I am in horrible pain over neck pain from sleeping in different possitions. I was a side sleeper prior to surgery and now I have to sleep on my back and my neck is screaming and I can't turn my head hardly at all. I tryed sleeping on my side twice now and 30 minutes later was having horrible nausea and pain so I took that as my stomach saying it wasn't ready for that. I will just have to manage, but I will boost the walking to help with the gas. Thanks ladies.:tongue2:
  4. I can't wait to start enjoying my excercise. Keep it up
  5. I am trying my best to make sure that I am walking as much as possible. How much should I be walking 4 days post op?
  6. Shez, I am so sorry your having problems. I had my surgery with Dr. Webb at St. Lukes on 5.21.10 and I haven't had any problems. I hope everything works out for you.
  7. I'm also a wow player. lvl 80 druid on Burning blade and lvl 70 alt warlock on Burning Blade. I don't get to play as much as possible.
  8. Gary... awsome job. Congrats
  9. I am only 3 days post op but I don't have regrets. I am still recovering and learning the feel of my sleeve - but not a single regret
  10. Hi everyone, Well I am home now tomorrow a.m. will be 3 days post op. I have never felt this much discomfort before. But after the night of surgery when they took me off morphine I started feeling a lot better. I have to say that the pepcid chewables and the gas x strips have helped me greatly. The only other Issues I have had was while in the hospital they had to stick me a total of 12 times for iv's. I am a very hard stick and when they did get a vein it would blow after a few hours so I have swollen spots all over. Anyone know what to do for that?
  11. Well tomorrow morning at 7 a.m is my big day. I can't believe I have made it to actually have the surgery. I am so excited, worried, scared, everything rolled into one. I will let everyone know how things go as soon as I can. Thanks to everyone for your support.
  12. Destiny - I am so glad you made it through surgery ok. My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 7 and I had no idea what to expect pain wise until I ran across your post. Thanks and feel better soon!
  13. Glad to know I am not the only one that plays wow....
  14. I think everyone go's through it. My surgery is in two days (Friday at 7) and I still feel like it's not a reality yet. Feels like I should be researchin something, reading something, considering something, or thinking of the surgery so I am starting to get antsy but I don't think I am going to really freak out until tomorrow night or Friday morning while getting ready.
  15. Maybe instead of skinnyjay we can call him slimjay... ya know like slimjim!! lol:tongue_smilie:
  16. Christi you are 24 hours to the minute - scheduled before my surgery time. I wish you all the good wishes for a speedy recovery and safe procedure. :biggrin0:
  17. I forgot about lotion... I have that in my over night bag now. LOL. Yes I have started packing my bag 5 days early. Can you tell I am ready for this??
  18. 1069, Can't you just switch the pills around so you have your period before going into surgery so that your over it before surgery? If not - I don't think it is that much of a problem but me, I would want it over with since I always have a hard flow and bloating.
  19. Congrats... I know you must be exstatic
  20. Tiffy, your such a wonderful soarce of info. Thanks so much
  21. wooo...my pillow is definately a must. Thinks for the ideas, I have added them to the list. Anyone else?
  22. Ok, I have started a list of things that I need to take to the hospital since I will be there a day or two. Is there any items anyone would like to suggest?
  23. Yes... I posted the same question a few weeks back. I went through extream seperation anxiety and had to eat everything in sight before my pre op diet started.
  24. I was going to take some Echaneshia (however it's spelled) but my doctor instructed me to stop taking all herbs 2weeks before surgery. Today I am feeling ok so it hasn't progressed. I am hoping it is just allergies.
