well I am now just going to wait and see what i can do. (again) but this time I will be getting a horse!!!!! I have always wanted one but just kept talking myself out of it, but now i go this weekend to ride one and see if i like and if i like i will get to pick her up in 3 weeks when she is done with her traning. and i am going to Dr (pcp) in a bit to see if there is a diet pill i can do for a bit to help me go in the right direction. so best of luck to me!! I want the band still but I can wait. i have waited my whole life whats a little longer. :thumbup:

well I was told yesterday that due to my past BMI i do not "pass" qulifacation for my ins. so i have to go self pay. it is just wrong i jumped through all those hoops for nothing and I could have already financed the surgery and been on my way to my new life. now i am getting ready to start new job on Oct 25 and my hubby still needs a job. so I am not sure if i will be able to get the surgery this year, but next year is not far off. I will call the LAP-BAND® place today to see if they have some words of wisdom!!?? I sure do pray they do!!!!!! will let you know latter on tonight what is going on. thanks. :ohmy::cursing::w00t::frown::crying:

Well I did the sleep study and i only stoped breathing once and got low oxengen the rest of the times so my PCP said i have low to moderate sleep apneya. so we will see. I go in for my 2nd weigh in next week. I cant wait for them to send all the infomation over to ins. so stressful!. :thumbup::confused::sad:so bottom line is my BMI is 36 and i dont really have a co-morbility i have high blood pressure but they dont want to put me on any other meds because i am on so many already. so nothing to really justify the surgery except i am over weight and feel awefull. we will see what Aenta says latter on. :thumbup:

It is not easy waiting on Dr. appointments and wondering if you will be approved or not. just nerve racking, it is. But I am going on with my mission, even though i do not see any light at the end of my tunnel. Got to get moving to start my day. Best of luck to you all. :thumbup:

I know the feeling. well for the most part. I am trying to hury and get the green light from my ins (croba) and i am just on the edge of my seat!. and finding a job now days is so hard!!!. Even temp agencys are packed with people that need help. and I read somewhere that the ressesion ended last summer. haha. what ever it has just hit the fan!. best of luck to you and all the other people in this same boat!.

I was quoted 9900 and that coverd surgery getting put under and 1 year after care. It is from True Results in Hurst TX. i hear some where in AZ it is 4500. so i am also trying to find out where that is just incase my ins don't cover. I wish you the best of luck on your jurny. :thumbup:

Well i have everything in place this month that the ins company wants done. so I hope next month I will know if i am approved or not for surgery. I have a feeling deep down they will say no. but i just keep praying they help me. I am excited about doing a sleep study. i love traveling and sleeping in really nice hotels. I hope this place is nice. I will not be posting until the end of this month when I get done with all my testing and phyic test. I wish everyone the best in there jorney's. :thumbup:

My PCP is ordering me a sleep study. I told him that my past weight did not go along with Aenta's guide lines and he just looked at my file, so not sure if i do or not. lol. I am stressed about it though. why cant they (aenta) just give a simple yes or no and not have everyone jumping though hoops!. ugh. well i feel a little better now thanks.

I have lots of hoops to go though, i was like do i really want to even try, then i just felt how my body felt and i was like Heck YES i am going to try, Aenta will have to tell me no. that is my only thing i am worried aobut. I go to PCP monday to see if my Medifast diet with him will be good enough to count as my 3 months of diet. ugh. you go to get lap band as last resort and they make you diet more.. I will try to keep positng as i go though the stages. just talking helps. Thanks a bunch.

I go today for my first seminar and I can't wait. I have been reading up on everything for the past 4 days and I am ready to get it done, but the only issue i for see is my ins company Aetna that will give me any issues. I have done almose every diet out there and I do have a log of the most curent one done. so i am really hoping this will be good enough to get me in fast. but if i have to wait then i have to wait. Cant rush a good thing i guess. lol. I can't sleep i am so excited about going. latter. Will post when i get back today about noon central time. :wink:
