A no go for me with Aenta

well I was told yesterday that due to my past BMI i do not "pass" qulifacation for my ins. so i have to go self pay. it is just wrong i jumped through all those hoops for nothing and I could have already financed the surgery and been on my way to my new life. now i am getting ready to start new job on Oct 25 and my hubby still needs a job. so I am not sure if i will be able to get the surgery this year, but next year is not far off. I will call the LAP-BAND® place today to see if they have some words of wisdom!!?? I sure do pray they do!!!!!! will let you know latter on tonight what is going on. thanks.

Any chance when you start your new job that you will have different insurance? That would be a great thing & then maybe you can resubmit your paperwork. It is such a long road to travel to be turned down. The foirst time I went my ins. wanted 5 years of past BMI & didn't have it. My husband got a new job & that coverage was different & I was apporoved on Sept. 28th. It took 2 years but I am scheduled for surgery on Oct. 18th. Don't give up!

Remember everything happens for a reason..I know that sounds cliche but I truly believe that!! Most people who have surgery have been thinking about or working insurance issues for at least 2 years!! So don't give up and as you said the new year is just around the corner!!!!! Take care and believe it will happen!!
