I wanted to post something about John (Neveragain). His mom called me and told me that he had gotten in a bad motorcycle accident. If you would all keep him and his family in your prayers. Last I heard he was in Intensive care. But he'll pull through. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts.

I just had a fill today and I'm at 4.25cc in a 4 cc band. So far, it's taking me a while to drink orange juice. I feel so shaky because I haven't eaten all day.

Actually we will be meeting at Johnny Tamales tonight for a little Christmas get together. It's maybe a mile past Fairmont where we normally meet. We have had some people bring their spouses. Message me if you would be interested in going this evening.

We actually meet in Pasadena off Beltway 8 and Fairmont Pkwy at the Starbucks inside Target. Kids are welcome also. We've had a couple people bring their kids. It's no problem at all. We meet every Thursday from 6 to around 8pm.

I have someone in my support group that is at 9cc in a 10cc band. Do you feel very restricted? I noticed you're from Houston. Me too. Would you be interested in joining a support group meeting?

I am sceduled for a fill this Friday. I'm currently at 3.75cc and would like to get to that sweet spot soon. Is anyone filled to the maximum with a 4 cc band?

I'm very attracted to a guy on lbt but the distance is the sucky part. We've both have had many discussions to meet but not sure when it will happen with him going to school.

Today is my 1 year anniversary for Lapband. I'm so happy with what I have accomplished this year and couldn't be happier with the success I've had thus far. Can't wait until this time next year! Thanks to everyone who have supported me in my down times this past year especially NEVERAGAIN (that hottie). Anyone else have an anniversary coming up?

I am a true believer that everyone has a soul mate out there. I think it just takes a lot of patience and having confidence. I've never had a boyfriend for Christmas. It would be nice to have one this year.

I was in a slump too. Just thinking that there was nobody else out there after my ex boyfriend. I hope everything works out for you. If you think about it...life is so much more simple when you're single.

So I was online and out of nowhere this guy that I had met 4 years ago from AOL messages me and asks how I'm doing. I'm in complete shock. We kind of stopped talking back then just because we were both not ready for anything serious and we've both agreed that we've grown up a lot since then. We talked on the phone for over an hour and he asks me to meet him for lunch. I'm in complete shock but decide to go for it. It wasn't as if I had never met him. We went to lunch this past Sunday and hit it off in an instant all over again. He treats me with such respect and honesty and I've been in need of a companion as of late because it has gotten so lonely for me. We ended up hanging out again last night with another couple and had a few drinks and I couldn't be happier that he has shown up in my life again. I guess the saying is true, "Don't look for someone because it will come when you least expect it"

My doctor told me to start exercising the day after surgery for atleast 30 mins. Of course I didn't. I did not start feeling better for a week. I would ask your doctor when he recommends you to start exercising.

The band is designed to last your whole lifetime. Although there may be instances where you will need to have a port replacement, a slippage, or even a possible erosion. There are several different reasons why it may not last forever but it all depends how you treat your band. I hope this helps.
