  2. Mine was about 2 1/2 hours long, the first hour was talking to a shrink and telling her about my history and to see how I have coped with things of my past and then the last 1 hr in a half was answering 13 pages of questions! It was a total of almost 400 questions and it was basically the same 5 questions rephrased over and over and over again. And they weren’t true/false questions either. I had to answer them as: very wrong, sometimes wrong, sometimes right, very right. You'll do great, don't worry about it!!!

  7. Dec. 1st, CONGRATS!!!! It's right around the corner! I won't be done with my pre-op until the first week of Dec so hopefully Aetna will approved pretty quick so I can have the surgery the last week of Dec. my surgeon thinks this shouldn't be a problem at all. And on top of getting the sleeve my Gyno will be coming in a tying my tubes at the same time!
  8. Congrats Lisabug! It's always so reassuring when you have your family backing you in doing this!!!! Cheers!!-Tiffany

  11. Good luck Sassyatty!!! and congrats Mommy2girls! I am also in the process of getting my sleeve approved and wont' have all my pre-op done until the beginning of December, but I am with Aetna. Aetna has strict rules and says that you have to be 40 bmi or greater for the past 24 months or 35 bmi with co-morbidities. It sucks that you have to jump through so many hoops but I would definitely call and talk to someone at UHC about it and see what you can do to be approved. Good luck!!!! -Tiffany
