  1. Well I did not have a pre-op diet, but then again I was self pay! Plus they moved up my surgery date so I pretty much only had less that 24 hours of liqueds! Funny, I guess it was the money talking!
  2. Of course I'm asking a hypothetical question, I plan on going back to school, and will be there for 8 hours a day, what I'm wondering is (I don't really have restriction now) is if this would be feasible? It is just a question going through my mind as to how will I eat with 8 hours of class?
  3. How do you feel about the whole "starvation mode" thing?
  4. I've had two fills, but little restriction......
  5. Reading this made me sit in preponderance! It has been 21 years since I have been at a good weight.....probably 10 years since weighing under 200. I have 27 pounds to hit 199...If I work really hard, that would be the best X-mas present I could give my self (besides a chihuahua puppy)! Yeah, bring em on Santa!
  6. I weigh every few days, I hit a platue after loosing 30 pounds that lasted over two weeks....I just got discouraged. Then after not weighing for a couple of days, I stepped on and sha-zam! Down four pounds. Soooo now It is every few days. Sometimes I can feel it, that I'm a little lighter...and that is when I'll weigh!
  7. Tobeskinny, I know this might sound dumb, but celery actually takes more calories to chew it than are in it.......and then dill pickles are very, very low calorie. When I really feel like snacking or grazing I have to eat those first, and I usually find they do fill me up. Maybe clean and cut the celery and keep it in salted water in the fridge, radishes are really good that way too!
  8. O.k. I am wondering if in the course of a day it is better to eat three meals, two meals or just have one big meal. I mean daily caloric intake is daily caloric intake.....What does everyone think?
  9. You can but it at wall-mart or any drug store, it will make you clear those pipes out!
  10. Well put I was thinking of the same thing!
  11. The only thing I know about vegi-mite is Lucille Ball did a whole episode about it a long time ago!lolololo
  12. WOW, that is alot, it is so funky how the conversion is. Why would they do that to us? Any way very big congrats to you my friend (across the ocean)!
  13. could you tell me the conversion for Kg to pounds?
  14. lmao,,,,,,,,,that was one slick recovery!
  15. That is what I was going to say! 10 pounds a month is fantastic! You don;t want to loose any more than that, or else you will get wrinkly and saggy! I say "patience Prudence"!
  16. I don't drink everyday, but I like my cocktail hour (s)! I drink vodka with Arizona diet green tea and a float of diet cranberry (YUM YUM)! I calculate every drink into my journal. So far I have not had any ill effects, dropping a steady 10 pounds per month, and eating around 1200 -1600 cal. per day (including when I have cocktails)!
  17. I am 3 months out, and have had two small fills (very small),and I eat anywhere from 1200 all the way up to 1600. I walk 30 minutes a day, and have averaged 10 pounds per month! I count calories, I journal, writing everything down! If I exercise, how long, when I eat, etc. Everyone says that you don't want to loose too fast or else your skin will be saggy:wink:!
  18. So far it has been 4 weeks between fills.
  19. Well put phranp something sounds fishy here! Eating too much ice cream and candy maybe? Bet your not eating 1200 cal. a day and exercising 30 min a day 5 days a week! If so, you would be seeing results.
