  1. I have the same problem. Philips Milk of Magnesia cured me!!!
  2. You could always call Peachtree Bariatrics in Atlanta. They might would see you. It would be close by also.
  3. Actually those are the only ones besides Protein shakes that I am allowed. My dr. gave me an information sheet that tells you what to eat each week for 6 weeks. I don't add anything that is not on there.
  4. I totally agree with what you said. I'll just have to tell myself that it's temporary. The mashed cauliflower sounds good but I can't have veggies for another two weeks.
  5. "Im embarrassed when I bump into those that knew I had the surgery because of little diffrence in appearance. Im also too embarrassed to go and get a fill. " Would you rather have self loathing for going back to who you were? You can do this, you already have. Just pretend that your are starting the process all over again. Get excited!!!! We care about you, don't forget to be your own friend.
  6. I am on stage 2-3. I am allowed sugarfree pudding, oatmeal, mashed potatoes, cream of wheat, fudgsicles, cream Soup, soupy grits, yogurt, and cottage cheese. So, so far I have chosen the yogurt and cottage cheese. However, a little variety is nice. I have issues with carbs so I am struggling mentally about the above foods that are carbs. (which is most of them) I have 3-4 weeks total of pre-op and post-op and I rid my body of all that carb addiction. But now during these phases I am suppose to consume the above. Does that make sense? I feel like I gave up the carb addiction. TIA
  7. So no problem with almonds huh? That's great. I can't wait to have my walnuts again.
  8. I've already decided that if I ask for child's portion or in your case a child's buffet and I am told no- I will then just order me a bowl of Soup and let it go. I figure the issue is with me and not the restaurant. Just my opinion of course.
  9. How much can you eat at one feeding? I ate 1/2 cup of yogurt yesterday and that was good. But today I ate about a cup of egg drop Soup.(strained) Then I was still a little hungry but just held off.
  10. I hate those campbell cream of Soups. I thought about broccoli and cheese but broccoli is fiberous and I was told to stay away from that. Also, I'm not in the vegetable stage. What can I eat besides egg drop Soup? Thanks
  11. I didn't have any movement for 8 days. I finally called the dr. and they said Milk of Magnesium. Trust me when I say it did the trick.
  12. simple and easy? Or if you just made something up and it turned out tasting great. TIA
  13. I had surgery on the 10th and my chest will hurt if I drink water sometimes. I just take it as a sign to stop. Try again in 20-30 mins.
  14. So we went from FUPA----Fatty Upper Pubic Area to PCOS!!! On a serious note- it's great that someone can ask questions like this and get help. Great board!
  15. This morning I decided to try 4 oz and will try to drink that within the hour. I am not dehydrated(went to primary dr yesterday) but I have the most severe cotton mouth. I am about to die. I suck on ice chips all the time. Anyways, I had a few good big sips of really cold Water this morning and it's ok. But immediately afterwards, I feel like it's tightening up a little between my breast. I'm just so thirsty.
  16. long does it take you to drink your Protein shake? And how much can you drink at one time? TIA
  17. Wow surgery and you QUIT smoking.:crying::thumbup: Because you have done this- you deserve nothing but the best health and peace of mind. Don't ever look back. It's straight ahead from here on out. Thanks for inspiring me.
  18. Oh I don't gulp believe me. I'm saying it takes an hour to sip 2-3 ounces. Do you know that feeling after a hard workout at the gym and you're sweating and you just turn an ice cold Water bottle up? That's what I want to do. But I know that's not going to happen .
  19. Wow, I can only drink 2-3 ounces per hour. When I tried more, my chest was killing me.
  20. SRT8--- I sent you a private message.
  21. Dr. Titus Ducan(Peachtree Bariatrics) did mine 9/10/2008. I like him and my incisions look great.
  22. Thanks Teresa for such a positive update.
  23. how much Water can you drink a one time. 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup, full cup? I am so thirsty and I am drinking my water but I would love to turn it up and just drink the whole bottle. I'm out 7 days and can only have chicken broth and propel water. (just so you will have that information. I'm just hoping later that I can at least have a good half a cup at once.
