  1. Happy 31st Birthday Rubio5!

  2. Hey

Just passing by to see how you been? hope all is well

  3. I'm so glad you're walking. It's helping me to be out doors. I get lazy at times and I also hate working out. lol It's normal we haven't done this in a while so hopefully we'll get the hang of it. How much do you have on ur band if you don't mind me asking. I've only had one fill and I am currently 4.8 I believe. The fill did help and I think i'm ready for the next one. I haven't weighed my self but I think I am losing weight. I feel slightly slimer. I think now the only problem is chewing. I have to work harder on that. I've been getting stuck and well i'm sure you know how much it hurts right? and it's annoying. Outside of that, I think i'm doing pretty great! Thanks for asking.

  4. Hey Girlie....I had gotten my fill 8/17 I believe it was my 3rd and it has made a BIG difference! I also sucked it up and am doing the treadmill for 30 minutes 4 times a week......I don't think I can do more than that being that I hate to work out....but you never know. I now weigh 197! So this month I have lost a total of 7 pounds and it hasn't even been a full month yet!! I hope you are doing better. Please let me know how eveerything is going..ttyl

I guess I spoke too soon

GOOD MORNING!! Well my last post was me sobbing about not having lost hardly any weight so far...blah blah blah. Well I received my 3rd fill on 8/16 and have lost 7 pounds! That's half a month! Stepped on the scale and FINALLY reached my short term goal. I'm officially in the one hundreds at 198.8. YAY me!! What's changed since my last post is well the fill of course helps a load. So I don't eat as much AND i have been on the treadmill for 30 minutes 4 times a week. I don't think I will ever be doing more than 30 minutes as I hate to work out and have to push myself everyday. But seeing these results helps me with that extra push.....new dilemma.....spending money on clothes that fit better. hahaha There's always something! :tt2:
  6. Goof morning,

Yes WE CAN DO THIS! Going for that walk helped a lot. I went again yesterday. I think I just needed a little push. Last night my 3 year old ran 2 miles with my little sister. I only did 1 and 1/2 so that's pushing me to strive for better tonight. I guess I made it a competition between my son and I. He's 3 for crying out load. I should be able to keep up with him.

I think i'll stick to the walking/jogging/running for a while. If I stay at home, I'll just sit here and be lazy. Also, I read a response that seemed good and it works. Since I have a long commute by the time I get home I'm starving but once I eat all i want is to go to bed. So, I leave before eating dinner and eat once I come home. Plus I was told that walking before eating helps to boost your metabolism. It's worth a try so i'll stick to it.

How are you doing? have you started working out? I hope so. Lets do this together.

WE CAN AND WE WILL DO THIS!

  7. Hi Ms. C, It's funny I posted a blog yesterday about only losing about 10 pounds in 3 months and looking for someone who is going through the same situation. Then I came across your post. I just got my third fill Monday and the restriction is better than the previous....I feel it now. I also HATE to workout but I saw that I needed to do something.....I am paying an arm and a leg for this so I started walking for 30 minutes. From reading the responses you recieved today and mine yesterday, I am confident that we will loose the weight. Keep me posted!!

    Somewhat dissapointed

Ok....I know that everyones different. I have been reading through blogs trying to find someone with my situation but cannot find them. I had my surgery 5/15 (exactly 3 months yesterday). I have only lost a total of 10 pounds since surgery. I am not eating terribly. I watch what I eat but I don't feel that fullness that many people have been experiencing. I havent realy been working out due to my personal schedule. But even if I thought at least more weight would have been lost... So yesterday was my third fill and I am hoping that this will show some improvement. I had half a sandwich and felt good...not full but good. I had the other half for lunch and a very small dinner......I even managed to go on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I truly hope that the weight will start coming off. If anyone has any suggestions or maybe has had the same experience at one point PLEASE let me know that I'm not alone. Thanks!
  9. Hi, sorry I haven't been on here for along time. I was banded on 3/31/09. Everyone gets nervous.... congrats on getting banded.... let me know how it goes :)

  12. I got my fill, only .25cc tho, because I still have pretty good restrition. I lost 3 pounds last week and I havent gotten on the scale since monday... soo we will see!! Have you started working out?

  13. Hey Nean how r you doing? Did you get the fill yet? They postponed mine till the 28th. Urgh and I need it to. I haven't lost any more weight. Hope you are having better luck...

  14. I get my first fill next week. i lost only 8 pounds in a month... I know they say thats 2 pounds a week.. but I want more! I start working out again today, so hopefully it jump kicks the weight lost a bit before I go in next monday. Hope everything else is going well :-)
