  1. As much as you don't want to, I think this is going to require sitting down and having a long conversation. Sometimes this surgery can affect our significant others in ways we didn't expect.
  2. I think this was posted in the wrong subforum
  3. I think that's pretty common for lap-to-sleeve patients, unfortunately. That band can really wreak havoc on the poor stomach!
  4. You look great! Love the short hair
  5. My advice is to learn from your mistake and realize fried rice is a trigger food for you.
  6. Nothing will happen to you; the sugar may not sit well with some people, though. You'd do better to get your chocolate fix from a protein bar or something like that. Otherwise it's just a lot of extra carbs.
  7. Head hunger hasn't gone away for me. When I recognize head hunger, I drink something instead and it goes away. That's not exactly useful when you're on the liquid diet, though!!
  8. At least your country gives health insurance to its people haha
  9. I really like to update my ticker, too
  10. If you haven't already ordered from Bariatric Choice, I highly recommend it. The barbecue Protein chips are AMAZING!! You can also get Vitamins and supplements here, plus you earn credit towards future orders with each purchase. I'm hooked! Http://www.bariatricchoice.com/rewardsref/index/refer/id/106452/ To get your $20 off, make sure you click "Maximize my discounts with rewards credit" in your shopping cart. Seriously...the barbecue chips. Oh.my.god.
  11. Meh, if my hair falls out that'll give me an excuse to buy and wear a cute Korean fashion wig.
  12. The frozen entrees might be making you retain water. Very high sodium.
  13. My surgeon told me 1-2 pounds a week would be the ideal loss at my stage. I got sleeved 5/22. So be happy--you're right on track!
  14. If you don't want to raise suspicion, you could be sneaky and just eat the broth.
  15. What I find ironic is how many sleevers like to complain when someone calls WLS the "easy way out", but then get upset that it isn't just that. Guess what? Your weight will always be a struggle--FOR LIFE!! The pounds won't fall off in a week, and when they're gone it still requires hard work to keep them gone.
  16. Holy moly, you must have hit that obstacle hard!!
  17. What does an MS flare feel like?
  18. My body Pre-surgery was nearly identical to yours Pre-surgery
  19. Wow, you stole my "before" body!!
  20. The shock to me wasn't so much that I liked to eat; I mean, I knew I liked the flavors and whatnot. I didn't realize just how pleasure I got from eating large QUANTITIES of food, and being able to finish my whole plate. That's what came as the biggest surprise to me.
  21. Sobe has a yumberry flavor too, and many times I've though to myself "WTF is a yumberry?"
