Yoda, That's great to know. Hubby will feel better about it now.. How the heck do I add that ticker at the bottom? I just went on the web site, but it says to cut and paste? Where do I do that? Yoda, Loriely, Wheezy, thank you so much for your warm welcomes.... This is great having the support outside of the clinic... I can't wait. Still nervous, but I know this is the best thing I will ever have done for myself. Hubby is very excited too. We are doing it a week apart from eachother, but hubby has to stay in the clinic over night. They want to charge him $500. He's got major sleep apnea, so I guess it's best they monitor him with the oxygen tank....Poor guy...But he will be so happy in the long run too. I just have some questions about the fills......How simple is it to find the port? How long is the fill procedure? Thanks so much for your support. I will have to add the little "tickle" thing down on the bottom. I'm just very new at this so I don't know where to start. Hi There, I just got home from my consultation. My hubby and I are doing it together. He will be banded on Nov. 17th and myself on Nov. 23rd. I'm very excited and nervous at the same time. We went through tons of questions today. I'm pretty comfortable about this procedure. It's just the pre & post diet I'm afraid of. I hope I will be able to keep up with it. Oh ya, I'm getting it done in Toronto at the Prince Arthur Medical clinic. It's a really nice place. My consultant is Nisrine. She's very nice and helpful. While in the waiting room, there were 3 ladies. All coming in for fills. They have had great success so far. So it was nice talking with them before my consult.... Any words of wisdom for me? Regarding the pre & post diet.... anyone experience real problems at first? Thank you. Doriana

Yoda, You are doing great.... I'm sure you are feeling your best too. I'm going for my consultation in Toronto tomorrow. Hubby and I are looking at getting the band done together. Do you have any advice, words of wisdom you may offer us? Which doctor did your band? I have about 80 pounds I would like to lose and hubby has about 140 pounds to drop. Keep up the great job.
