  17. Hi - I am new and just got my date, so I have and will be posting a bunch of questions - I hope you all don't get sick of them. Has anyone taken STD for this procedure? I first thtought I heard you can go back to work 3-5 days later - but my Dr said that they say 4-6 weeks to make it easier but I can go back soon like the 3-5 days? So has anyone used STD or how long have most of you been out after you were banded? Thanks
  18. Hi - just wanted to share the news that I got me surgery date today!!!! Yipee - now as long as the Ins approves it - which it seems like they will and was told by the Dr office that they are easy and get approval in a day or two. I get my physc test/nutri meeting and meet with the person who puts you under (which they say you talk with him for 1 to 2 hours – anyone know why this is? ) on May 5th and that starts my 2 weeks liquid diet and then Banded on May 19th.........just thought I would share….you all on her encourage me and I know I can do this 2 week pre op diet  Thanks
