    Goodmorning my fellow bansters
Its been a while since Ive written a blog but at this point i really need the support of my fellow bandsters. July is my bandiversary and so far Im down 47lbs. My goal was to be at least 60 or 70lbs lighter by then but for some reason my body is not losing. tears are filling my eyes as im writing this and its from the one emotion that drains me the most ANGER!!! I dont know if Im angry at myself or at the whole lapband process. dont get me wrong I love my band and ill do it over if i had to but Im still trying understand this process. Im doing everything that i need to do. Ive even joined another gym which offers classes and take 2 classes everyday from kick-boxing to bodyworks, spinning, pilates, yoga you name it. I started that a week and a half ago as well I have been counting calories not exceeding12-1500 a day and yet i have not lost ONE SINGLE POUND!! (the caps are indicative of yelling as a result of frustration!) At this point the only thing that keeps me going is the hope of someday waking up stepping on the scale having a huge loss but i dont know how long that shred of hope will last. Some words of encouragement will be much appreciated at this point. I dont know what else to do

    hi there LBT family
I am soo frustrated. I had surgery on july first and so far Im down 38-39lbs. I had a fill in sept and didnt lose a single pound and then recently had a fill last monday (nov 8th) so its been officially 1 week since that fill and i have not lost a single pound, in fact i have gained a pound. I dont know what else to do, I cant see a nutritionist because i got laid off from my job so no insurance and i am trying to do everything right.
Has this happened to anyone? Can someone give advice because i am honestly losing my mind!!!:bored:

So I had my second fill 10 days ago. since then i have not lost a single pound. I am to the point where i just wanna break down and cry...no I take that back not cry BAWL! I am doing everything right. I watch what i eat. I spend 2 hours a day in the gym almost every day and still not one single pound. I weigh my self constantly and the fact that the numbers has not changed is really discouraging. Can some one pleeaasse give me some words of encouragement. im losing my mind:crying:

    Hi all
As u know i had my first fill yesterday and was given 5ccs which seemed like a whole lot to me for a first fill. well i was on pureed yesterday and everything was going great. Today not so great... so i had b/fast, oatmeal and couldnt finish 1/2 cup and after i was done the food felt as though it was stuck in my throat or on my chest...it just felt stuck. I hit the gym and while i was working out I tried to drink water but everytime I take a mouthful i have to keep it in my mouth and swallow tiny sips at a time or else i would be nauseated. I really dont mind having to sip on water but its the feeling of the food being stuck is what gets to me. and after about a half hour i can feel it slowly moving down. Is this a sign of my band being too tight or should i just give myself time to adjust?
and PS the burping is off the charts. I have never burped this much and this loud in my life. I hate it!!! is anyone else experiencing that???

    Hi all
I had my first fill today and i gotta say when i saw the size of that needle i almost peed myself but it was painless. he first gave me some local anesthesia and then he did the fill. Now I thought the first fill would be around 2-3ccs but he gave me 5cc:confused:. doesnt that seem like a lot for my first fill? well he had me drink water and it went down fine and since i got home ive been drinking and everything seems great which leads me to my next concern. what if with the 5ccs i still dont have enough restriction? my band is 11cc so im already almost at half. I really dont want to fail. I only lost 15lbs so far and i was expecting so much more. i think im doing everything right, trying to eat well (although i could do a lot better) and excercising almost everday for sometimes 2 hrs. i guess ill see what happens in the next 6 weeks but i gotta admit Im scarred:crying:

    Hi again all,
So today makes 20 days post op and so far ive lost 14 -15lbs to date. Im on my mushie stage which really isnt that bad. I love yams so i eat mostly yams and pureed chicken but im stuck at that 14-15lbs. I just started excercising again, hiking at least twice a week yet still nothing. Am i doing something wrong? or am i expecting too much too soon?

So i finally had my surgery on the first of July. I gotta say it wasnt what i expected. I was in a great deal of pain the day i left the hospital from the gas and i expected that what i didnt expect was how fast the incision pain subsides. well the doctor did mention that ill be back to normal in no time but i thought he was just saying that so i wont get too scared but Im on day 6 and im pretty much back to normal except for the itching....boy do they itch. now im in the liquid diet stage. Is it just me or does anyone else wanna eat every damn thing in sight just cause you cant have it? I crave every thing! I never thought that i would ever miss chewing but after 6 days of drinking I need to chew.:frown:
