My first fill..,

Give it some time. It seemed to me that it took a couple days to feel anything. Don't stray from liquids (if that is what doc said); you'll do great.

Everyone loses weight on their own schedule. 15lbs is a great loss, don't short change yourself. As for the 5cc fill - I'm sure you doctor knows what he is doing or you wouldn't have chosen him to operate in the first place. And I am sure you aren't his first lap-band patient. So, relax and give yourself some time to adjust to the fill. It will all work out. You go girl and keep it up.

I had 6cc's on my first fill and I thought the same thing.."damn that's alot". The nurse told me that since I have a ways to drive to see surgeon, he wanted to give me a bump up to last 5wks till I saw him again...it worked ! You'll do great and the lbs will just slip off!!

It takes time. Hang in there. It could be a few more visits before you have the right restriction. Awesome though that you are on your way!

the first time my doc saw me, he checked my previous fill (about 2cc??) and said my band was "wide open". so he put in 5cc. he even said that was a "record" but it was great! i had to get a third fill about a month later but that did the trick. I was glad that i didnt keep going in a bunch of times for teeny tiny fills.

give it a while and see what works for you! 15pounds is great! especially if you havent reached your "sweet spot" yet!!! congratulations!!!
