Your doing awesome and as the comment above states we are learning everyday on how to live this new way it will come..I got another fill on Wed and the nurse said it takes about 6 months to get into the groove..... hang in there!!!I was banded 12/9/09 so I am right there with you learning everyday!!

  12. I am at 41 down so I know how you feel, I go to the gym @ least 5 times a week and love it, never thought I would say that but I feel miserable if I don't make it. Clothes are all ones I bought so long ago thinking someday I'll wear them, well finnaly that someday has arrived...YEAH...and they are starting to get big now...another YEAH....keep up the good work!!!!!
  13. I celebrated getting below the 250 make last week it was so nice not to have to put that scale maker on 250 to begin my weigh in...now to get it below 200...think it may be a while...next goal 235 by 3/14!!! Janet you are doing awesome!!!

    I felt the same way even after my first fill, all set to get another fill on Monday hopefully restriction after that!!! I have lost 40 since preop diet thanksgiving 2009 but I have to stop myself from eating when I know I have had enough not becouse I am full.Good luck on your journey!!!!

I know how you feel I have lost 40 since pre-op diet 11/27/2009 and I know I am smaller I am down from 24's to 20&18's but when I look in the mirror I don't see it...the compliments are wonderful just wish I could get it in my head!!Keep up the good work it will catch up soon with our minds and we will see it also!!!!

  23. When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world. :thumbup:
