LAP-BAND Patients

Started my blended foods today. I ate way more than I thought I'd be able to. I'm a little upset and confused. I know the band isn't filled yet, but shouldn't there be some restriction??

LAP-BAND Patients

There usually isn't, you just have to monitor the intake, I know it is hard, but I had to decide if I was really "FEELING" hungry or if I just was bored and wanted to eat it because it smelled good or if I had felt like I had been depriving myself of food for awhile and felt I deserved to eat that much. Plan what you will eat for a week out at the time and then it is easier to stay on the plan. Good Luck!
