  5. Well it's 11:05 pm here and what a day!! But i did manage to stay on track:sneaky: I think the worst time of the day for me is late afternoon when im over being at school and needing a break. I had a smoothie for breakfast and some low fat cottage cheese Water through out the day and Soup for dinner. Yay! One day at a time. Ooh yeah something else happened to me today... Just before i left to go to school I was feeling stressed out like before a panic attack, I could tell i wasn't really breathing. i had the consciousness of it. So I acted and took many deep breaths just breathing deeply and letting go. Then left out the door feeling better. On the way to school I broke out into a hymn.. Sometimes my own voice surprises me. I just belt out words of love and gratitude in a sweet harmony. The song shows me how to live. It was pretty wild actually. Now that I'm thinking about it... Today is Imbolic. A pagan Holiday celebrating mid winter. The term imbolic translates to "in the belly" This is the time we manifest our intentions for the coming year. Holding the vision is important for these next few days. I know i must bring love and attention to this surgery before during and after.... In a pay it forward kinda way... I pray this is the right thing for me to do and that i have no regrets. Jade

Arakawana, Yes i believe so.. You can get it at the Vitamin Cottage or any natural food store. Sometimes you can find the single packets and try then out individually and see which one you really like.

  10. Hey Look, Everybody has got an opinion... We all see things through our own filters, and project our beliefs onto others. With that said... I too was very nervous to tell my friends, as each one of them has a strong level of "consciousness" and are for the most part natural/organic/spiritual people. The reaction after I mentioned it was mostly positive some mixed.. But they all listen to my reasoning and rational. Some said i wasn't big enough to have this operation and I should focus and do it on my own. After much consideration I decided to go for it.. You know what they all eventually said to me that they supported my decision because they wanted for me to be my happiest. Knowing that this procedure is only a tool and a way to serve as an inner guide. Working out and monitoring food choices and a peaceful mindset make you truly the sucsess and not the just the band The big thing about this decision is making your boundaries clear for yourself first, then others.. ie your friends.. Pick and choose how much of there support is healthy for you... ie. yoga/walks/gym.. and when to simply disengage them by not participating in their drama. Gosh I'm ranting.. but just want you to know i understand the frustration. Not everyone needs to know.. pick the people who's grounded opinions you really care about.. I hope some of this helped.. Jade

  21. I had mine pierced when i was 17. They were small hoops and the both rejected not once but twice. Cool that so many people on here love nipple rings... Right on!
  22. Okay ...this has to be the Funniest post sesh i have ever encountered....Thank you ladies for making me laugh so much. And whats funnier i agree with all of you.. I love the " my poop comes from there" line and live and let live. Personally and maybe this is tmi. I was always of the mind set that the anal pleasures are foul and if a man wanted to do that then he had some gay tendendancies... Yet one very mysterious night long ago it just happened and it was actually way erotic... see previous post about how warm up sesh is a must!! However since then, i have remained true to my no ehn ehn.. I tried to make an exception for my last boyfriend but i dont think it was anatomically posssible without an emergency visit to the ER.. Keep up the great posts ladies!!!
  23. Meilwriter, Thank you so much for responding to my post. I am struggling to make this surgical decision. I felt that the surgery center was just pushing me through like cattle. They were going to do all the meet and greet, psych eval and all that jazz, and then do the surgery the next day. This may still be the right thing for me to do but I need to make sure the operation and risks are worth it. What was your experience like? Do you feel a great connection with the nurses and surgon? Did you have to go through some proper screening and evals before the band date or was it more like 1,2,3??? Also how long did it take you to be physically active and doing yoga poses after the band?? Again thankyou so much for your support!! it means alot to me.. Jade
