Hello Lalalude, I am not very good finding my way around this website but I am learning. Are you still having pain? I found out what my problem was. I have a disk protrusion in between L3 and L4 and it was pinching a nerve. No one knows how it happened or when. I have been through alot trying to figure it out. 2 emergency room visits with x-rays and a CT scan and my doctor finally ordered an MRI. So I had to get steroid epidural injections in my back, it took 2 times and now the pain is almost all gone. I hope everything is all good with you now.

I am so confused! I had my surgery on Nov 23 and my doctor still has me on a liquid/puree diet and I am suppose to continue eating this until the end of December!

I am in very much pain today, so much I can barely walk. It is in my back and left hip. I don't think it has anything to do with the lap band but I was just wondering if anyone has had anything like it? After having the lap band I had alot of gas pain in my left shoulder and chest. Then it went to in between my shoulder blades. That all seems to be gone now but now I am having this back and hip pain that almost brings me to my knees. I have never had pain like this before. If it doesn't get any better today I will be going to the emergency room tonight! :thumbup:

I am on my 8th day

I had my surgery last Monday the 23 of November and this Tuesday December 1, I am going back to work, I have an office job and no lifting, so I feel that I am ready. Good luck

I was banded a week ago today, I was not expecting any pain. After I woke up after surgery, I was hurting pretty bad, mostly pain in my shoulder and every time I had to take a deep breath. Sometimes it still hurts but I am feeling pretty good now. Just don't want you to think there won't be any pain! Good luck! :confused:
