  7. I am not, but am aware that my surgeon adopts alot of patients, it can happen, but d your research and call for further information. Best wishes!

  11. Congratulations to your NSV's!! and your scale victories, too!
  12. Great advice, lellow! I could not have said it better. Best wishes to everyone who is in the healing stage! My advice for mushy is to put it in a blender to mush it up. chicken is stingy, so had to mush up. But I think if you use teh potted meat/chicken it can be eaten. Be careful for what you eat. You are not supposed to vomit!
  13. I like that too! "Can't dance, too fat to fly!" is one of my husband's favorite sayings! Been saying it for 44 years, and when he 1st said it, he was a fit Marine! Cute!!karen
  14. Congrats, you look marvelous! Best year ever!!!Karen
  15. Relax, ladies, you are in the healing phase and yes head hunger can eat you up right now!(pun intended). Drink lots of liquids! You should be happy that your surgeon have switched you to mushy, already. Don't rush because letting your body heal is important. You might not think so now, but it is! Good luck to you all, Karen
  16. I would go with the lapband doctor because he was the one who placed it,but you still could have been slipped!((((hugs))))hope you can get some answers!Karen
  17. some doctors give a small fill with the insert of the lapband. My surgeon gave me my 1st fill at 6 weeks, but my son got fil during his operation. Different strokes for different folks!!!
  18. 48 hours clear, 48 hours full liquids!
  19. Sounds like you are doing fine!
  20. You sound like your surgeon is very non-aggressive. I had to wait 2 weeks to move from clear to full, and then another 2 weeks to move to puree. When was your surgery? and why are you trying to rush through the phases? You need to slow down and follow your surgeon's rules! best wishes, don't mean to sound harsh. Karen
  21. Yes, wonderful that he decided to do this for himself and his family! I wish him much success!
  22. What makes you think that you have a slip? I agree with Elcee, you will know when and if you have a problem. Relax, but if you do, call your surgeon's office, ASAP!
  23. It is not! It has chunks of eggs in it. You could eat it as clear liquids if you eat around the eggs and other stuff. I used to eat hot and sour soup on clear liquid as I would not eat the other stuff only the liquid. Best wishes, Karen
