Is egg drop soup a full liquid?

It is not! It has chunks of eggs in it. You could eat it as clear liquids if you eat around the eggs and other stuff. I used to eat hot and sour soup on clear liquid as I would not eat the other stuff only the liquid. Best wishes, Karen

Or try won ton soup and only eat the broth.

I met a lady the other day at the gym who had gastric bypass and looks amazing. She told me I should eat egg drop soup for protein. I am not interested but I was nice Maybe you can strain it? I would ask your doctor always if you are not sure of something.

Its more of a stage two food like tomato soup or pureed food. It was one of my favs during my post op diet

And after a fill. Made correctly it has no clumps or chunks. You just blend it Into chicken broth.

When I get that crud feeling of illness coming on, i get a quart of egg drop from our local take out.

It's like chicken soup but you get the chicken before its a chicken. Sounds weird I know, but it works.
