  15. I find that research pretty accurate. But, I have seen a lot of people in the health care industry, including my own surgeon who has had lapband surgery, that are obese. I think that it can be anyone in any job.
  16. My surgeon, who flew to Mexico an had surgery by Dr Ortiz on Friday claims to have done an operation on Monday! Good for all you people who can. I enjoyed my couple days of rest!
  17. Sorry for double post
  18. LOL! Sounds like something my surgeon would say!
  19. Congrats, on all NSV's, Karen
  20. Labwalker, that is what my son-in-law says too. I am not like that, I can get restriction anytime. Boyer, you would definitely know if you have a slip. It is not about restriction, or not, it is about not keeping stuff down, and having reflux and GERD at night. Are you losing weight? Are you getting your proper proteins? If not, step up both your proteins and water. Maybe, you need to increase your calories. How many are you eating a day? Probably you should be having about 1000 a day, if not, increase your calories, too. Best wishes. Karen
  21. Probably not. You will have little restriction until you have your 1st fill. Some people can continue to lose weight before their fills but I could not. My son-in-law says he only loses weight after the fil for about 1-2 weeks. Calm down, you are normal! Karen
  22. I have a 10 cc bad and can only tolerate 5.25 cc, I currently have 5.cc and may have the surgeon put that extra .25 in this time when I go, but not sure. I am almost 4 years banded and have lost my 100 lbs, but am slowly gaining some back. I have trouble with not snacking on sliders. Karen
  23. ((((hugs))))same here. We both need that kick. Best wishes, Happy Mother's day!
