  1. Hey girllly... when you get all that money, don't forget me....lol wonder what would happen if you try and respond to the email...... too bad we can't wage a campaign to flood the little princess with email to to annoy her....
  2. i lost in the face first.. then the stomach and legs hell my feet went from a 7.5 to a 6...lol.... The place i lost the least was in my breast cup size. When i started i was a 44H... Now im a 36G, some times a FF. Hoping to have a reduction in the near future. I did have a tummy tuck a year ago today.... Love my new tummy...
  3. Big difference in what you have.... if you have your surgery in the state of the current place you live and then... move, you will probably have no problems. I know here, my dr. and another local group will take other dr. patients if either: You have just moved here.... or your dr. moved away. I would really think hard about going to Denver to have the surgery... if you can't get fills you are wasting your money...
  4. congrats on a New and improved Life.... Prayers for a speedy recovery.
  5. Jen.... I think if i had a do over... that would be the one thing i would stand my ground on..... Last year, in fact a year ago this coming Friday, i had my Tummy tuck and i wish i would have said no to the un fill. My restriction has never been the same. at 10.5 in my band i was at a great point, had good restriction and was at 143...... I have never been at the same feeling since. I know have 10.5 and can eat most anything... and as a result im at 150...
  6. from one Louisiana girl to another.... congrats... you look fabbbbb. I wish i would have done my breast too, but i only did my tummy.... I could not be happier with my results... Don't worry about the scar... it will get better.... Look at the difference .. Next Friday will be my one year mark...Feb 15, 2012. I did it over the Mardi Gras holidays... this why i didn't have to use all my vacation days...lol
  7. you guys are soooo kind too me.... I love you all. Now i have to get up the balls to go do it.... I am so pleased with the way my surgery turned out. I was really worried that the "button" would look bad... but he did a great job. Terry... that is next, but i'm so indecisive on what to get... but i really do what one. I don't want it to be a cheese tat... i want it to be pretty of course but also have great meaning..... I was thinking about a Phoenix .... It's pretty and represents starting a new..... but i also love the tree of Life which would also represent starting a new, but also would pay homage to my Irish heritage.. (yes that explains my feistyness...) lol Got that Callahan blood running in my veins...
  8. I know this sound.... vane... but i was thinking about getting a Belly Button Percing. What do you all think....? Be honest..I can handle.. the Truth...lol I know i'm 44 (45 in July)... i just think they are sexy.
  9. how can i found out if i starched my band..?
  10. I don't think a "dislike" button or the Points this is the way to go... If you have a view on a topic, say what you feel. I'm a firm believer in speaking your mind.. that's why you have one.... If you don't have the "nads" too, then move on and comment on the ones you agree with.
  11. Hey Tina... i have been following your story for years. You have been and still are one of my biggest inspiration on this site,... I wish you all the luck and Pleaseeee keep us posted.
  12. This is the only way to keep it a secret... only tell the person bring and picking you up from the hospital. Woman love to gossip and YES even your best friend will tell even after you say not too. I ran into this the other day.... Went to a Insanity workout and one of the girl is the sister of my LB mentor. She and i were talking and i said how wonderful Paula looks and she (not knowing that i had LB too) said.... Yea but you know she only lost that weight because she had LB and didn't really work for it....... I about came un frecking glued... I just said... seems to me like she worked very hard for it... and walked away. If someone ask... just say your watching what you eat and exercising.... which is totally true. Morel to the story..... too keep it too your self... KEEP IT TOO YOUR SELF.
  13. OMG.... Yes. Last year 2/15/12 i had an unfill for my Tummy tuck and at the same amount i am now i would most deff. have trouble.... Now i can still eat anything. I was thinking that it was just me and that i some how stretched my stomach. I was very careful when i was empty not to over eat.... but now i wonder.
  14. Sweetie... i think most all of us had doubts about one thing or another with this surgery. Whether to get the surgery, What if i die in surgery...what if i fail at this too... what if the band has problems... what if i can't follow the rules.... What if what if what if.... This is all normal. But, all surgery has risks. And if you do as your doctor say and you are fully committed to this ENTIRE process... You will succeed..... and the insurance thing...... Better to pay 50% than 100%... to have the results and the health i have now, i would have paid 100%. ....so good luck.
  15. Jealousy will kill this friendship. Be on guard. You can do this.... I started at a size 18-20 .. Now I wear a very comfortable 8 but can and do wear a 6
  16. So you started at the same as me.... i was 5'2.5" and 223. And yesss you are Morbidly obese. Why does she have any say at all.... this is your life and your health, not hers. Agree to disagree...No you don't. Tell her to keep her opinion to her self.... I would keep an eye on these two. I see sabotage in your future. Can i guess that they are either the "thin girls" or the "fat girls"... thin girls don't want the competition that you will give so they want you to stay fat... and the Fat Girls will be jealous of your dedication and new found confidence.... no longer one of the hard....lol
  17. isn't it funny how people are always ready to tell you what they think... "you need". I hid my weight under huge breast.. most people looked at me and saw boobs and not the huge stomach and A$$. Of course you all know me for NOT holding my tongue .. so one day a "friend" said... why are you having surgery, you don't need that, you just need a breast reduction you don't weight enough. So me being me... i said oh really... and how fat do you wish for me to be oh mighty one? That shut her up pretty quick. Just say what you really want to say.... tell them thanks, but your weight is not their concern and until they are a trained weight loss specialist.. you'll keep listen to your doctor.
  18. well welcome back .... wishing you all the best
  19. cheryl is right.... my Ulcer on my left hip had to heal from the inside out... healed pretty good too. You look fab... by the way.
  20. It's so encouraging to see Young people taking control of their lives.... So happy that the two of you are doing just that. If i may make a suggestion... I would tell NO ONE... Simply say, this is a new year and a new Life. I'm going to eat better and exercise. I find even if you tell one person, especially women, that's it. It's all over. NOT even your best friend. Women love to gossip and talk about other women. I would only tell the person that will bring you to and from the hospital. They will start to watch everything you eat and do.... Are you supposed to have that? Shouldn't you being doing this?.... I recently sent this to another person, and adjusted it to you, hope you don't mind: You have to keep focused on you.... not your family or friends... they will start to sabotage you... Your thinking... but my family and friends want me to be healthy... True for the most part..... i'm guessing most, but not all of your friends are Fat too... lets be honest, we run in hordes .. lol but there is always that one skinny friend... she loves hanging with you all because, she's the skinny one and get all the attention.... But wait till you start becoming thin... she will start saying things like.. eat one bite, it won't hurt ya...don't go to the gym today.. lets go eat out... You are now competing for attention... she will not like that one bit. You fat friends won't like it either... your no longer "one of them". They will do that same things "skinny b***h" will do because they want to keep fat YOU around... You will also become a reminder of their failures that they are still fat and no matter how happy they pretend to be for you... deep inside, they will be green with envy. You will find out who your True friends are... they are the ones that keep encouraging you the entire way.. the ones that say.. hey after you work out, want to go have coffee... or ask you to help them take control the way you have. they are the At-a-boy givers... they will rise to the surface... Parents and siblings are the big supporters.... unless they are big too... Dads and brothers are the best, they are a great support team. Better than moms and sisters. Moms and sisters sometimes don't know how to handle the new person. My mom said... Chris your getting too thin don't you think.... My brothers wife (she had lb a year before me) stop visiting. She lost only 20lb when she had it done. I was a reminder of her failure..... Un known to me, he had said... Look at my sister, she looks great, why can't you lose weight like she did.... Of coarse i chewed his ass for saying that... but, it true... she could have if she had made the commitment to do so. She just had the Bypass done and so far she is doing great. Im happy for her.
  21. Erin, it's best to check with your doctor. but i would start simple with walking and then increase with speed and distance. I also joined Zumba. I was a HOT mess in that class, but the instructor said, don't worry about getting it right... the main thing is to keep moving.... Also did some swimming. But it was a while before i started doing weights.
  22. Could be on the inside.... I would go see the dr. and let him decide. Maybe some antibiotics will do the trick.
  23. I have tried those and i can't ever get it right... i always end up looking like an umpa-lumpa with Streeks....lol I heard that Fake Bake was good.
  24. gosh... that was three years ago... but i think i stayed in the gown and then changed into PJ's to go home.... Surgery was on a Tuesday and was at work the next Monday .. and got a welcome back Pink slip..... surprise.. your laid off....
