Steve..... forget about the friend.... just go pick up some chick at a bar and have a one nighter.... now that settles that..... Oh, wear condoms....- Don't care who i offend......
Haha.... Now that i have your attention.............. Merry Christmas..... to all my LB family.... Wishing you all a wonderful New Year... Here's to seeing "less" of you all next year.... Love you guys- All of these stories... Scared me!!
C-girl.... thanks for the vote of confidence ... So may people have been an inspiration too me.... but two of my biggest... now thinnest...lol are Makulafamy.. she writes a fab. blog http://cheeseandsunk...gspot.com so funny. When she started her WL journey she was with a guy and then fell in love with her personal trainer.... a girl... Love her, so funny and smart and if you want real inspiration mumof2boys.... go into the rant part of the forums at the bottom and read Betrayal is a b***h... This woman has been thru a cheating husband, cancer, surgeries remarried and another baby late in life.. And lellow... Now that's i'm writing this... so many come to mind..... all the ones C-girl said and guymustang, budd, momomel, tcarroll, Ms. Jean of corse.... Dennis, fatboyslim, kim...... Oh hell i could go on and on, but just look at my friends list and i have tons of inspiration.... I can tell you i have seen way more success than not. Here and in person. I have had 5 friends have the Bypass and all but one has gained all the weight back, two had the sleeve and one has done great, but recently gained about 20 back.... the other not so good. The band... including me 6... i count my self as a sucess... lol.... 3 have done amazing... 1 (my sister in law) just had her band removed and had bypass... she was a terrible band member... and my cousin... another terrible, lazy band member... didn't count on it being "real work". Love you guys.....- For those who don't know me.....
B.... you are such an inspiration...... you surly are, or should be the poster person for how to take back your life. I have enjoyed watching your transformation over the past. Keep up the WONDERFUL work you look Fabulous...... with a capital F..- All of these stories... Scared me!!
Cheryl is correct.... So did you feel the same when you thought you were getting the Sleeve? With every type of surgery there are Great out comes and .... lets just say ... not so great out comes. The LB is what you make of it. If you chose to listen to your Doctor... and only your doctor, do exactly what he/she tells you and you are committed to this 100%, you will succeed. You will NOT wake up skinny and you will have to work at it by Watching Everything you put in your mouth, the way you eat everything and how you drink.... but with the band you will have the time to adjust unlike with the sleeve and bypass, where you wake up and BAM... you are restricted on your eats.... which is why i chose the band. And... You will have to exercise.... the band will not do it all for you... I would suggest you join a LB support group NOW....- Tummy tuck tomorrow ..
Famous.... Glad too hear that you are doing well. Floridays.... so tomorrow is your big day... Well congrats. My doctor didn't do drains either.... only inside stitches .. out side was glued. I wish i could remember how i posted pics on here.... Good luck tomorrow.... post some before and afters....- New Years Eve Surgery!!!
first off.... congratulations. What a wonderful way to start a new year... with a new life. My advice to you is, take it slow and don't expect to wake up skinny. For me the first few month were not good only because i expected to wake up skinny. And when it didn't happen, i immediately thought i fail at yet another attempt at losing weight. But, i did learn to embrace every loss... no matter how small... it all adds up in the long run. Start an exercise plan as soon as your doctor permits Start with baby steps... i stated by signing up for a zumba class... then i did elliptical and then started weight training. Pay attention to what Your doctor tell you to do... Not anyone else. Every LB patient is different and every doctor tell his/her patients different things to do and don't do. Join a support group NOW... All the best.....- Its Time For Progress Pictures.. Come On Guys Post Em!!
Every one looks AMAZING....- Celebrities With Lap Band
no prob..... and sharon had by pass.... many many years ago.- Tummy tuck tomorrow ..
all the best of luck and prayers..... It will be one year feb 15th i had mine and i could not be happier. I wore my compression garment for 8 weeks after and then spanx.... I think it did make a difference, but thats just me. very important you do exactly what the doctor tell you.... i pushed my self and picked up on laundry and popped a inside stitch and Fluid built up under the skin and i got a sore.... but it was all my fault. So please take it easy..... drink a lot of Water and eat as best you can. I slept in my recliner for the first week. It was the most comfortable place. My pain was minimal.... but i had no drains. I heard that's what hurts the most.- Celebrities With Lap Band
Nope... she and her husband got sleeve- Question

The majority of the LB doctors are still instructing there patients to NOT drink with meals and too wait 30 min. after. I went back to the beginning of this post and out of the 17 people, 9 say no... no drinking, 6 say yes.. sips are ok and 2 i'm not sure where they stand. But, this question has been ask numerous times and each time the "majority" up till now has said.... No no drinking with or till 30 min. after. But either way this has really gone too far.... you all do what your going to do and the majority of the rest will do what they will do....- Drinking While Eating
So how should i have responded?- Sushi
I use to be able to eat it but not anymore. the rice gets stuck. So now i order it with out the paper are the rice... i get the cucumber roll or the snowcrab salad...- Drinking While Eating
Even though some doctors are now saying it's ok to "sip" after each bite...... The "majority" of doctors are still instructing their patients to wait 30 min. after eating. This is the rule i live by. I learned the hard way also buy forgetting and drinking... and got stuck. So now i don't even allow the waitress/waiter to bring me water. Of coarse they look at me like i have an alien on my face... but i say... No, not even water, but thanks.- Drinking While Eating

these were the rules given to me.... but go on and do what make you happy Lap-Band: Rules To Live By For The Rest Of Your Life Eat 3 small meals per day. Eating 3 meals per day will provide the proper nutrition your body needs. Eating more than this or "grazing throughout the day is unconsciou eating and can lead to excessive calorie intake. Limit portion sizes to 3-4 oz. Portion sizes should reflect the size of your new pouch. Eating more will eventually stretch the size of the puch and lead to an increased calorie consumption and weight gain. Eat slowly - when you are comfortably full... STOP. Eating too fast will cause pain and can lead to overeating or vomiting. No snacking in between meals. Snacking in between meals will only add additional, unnecessary calories. It may also revive bad habits of unhealthy snacking and grazing. Do not drink and eat at the same time. liquids will speed up transport of food through the stomach, decreasing the sense of satiety (feeling of fullness) and giving you the ability to eat more. Drink fluids 30-60 minutes after eating. Consume adequate fluids-sipping at all times. Fluids should always be sipped. Gulping can cause pain and lead to stomach stretching. Drink at least 64 oz. of Fluid every day - in between meals in order to prevent dehydration. Eat well-balanced, nutritious meals - Protein first! Providing yourself with the proper food is important in order to provide your body with the necessary Vitamins and minerals you need to survive. Eating your protein first will ensure that you are meeting your protein needs of at least 60 grams per day. The rest of the meal should be balanced with small amounts of fruits, vegetables, and whole grain carbohydrates. *see the protein guide* Limit high calorie food and drinks. Consuming high-calorie food and drinks such as soda and high-fat foods will only increase your calorie intake, leading to less weight loss and possibly weight gain in the long run.- Drinking While Eating
How is this partially correct? Please explain in your vast knowledge of 4 months.- Drinking While Eating
Kb... watch the you tube video..... explains perfectly.... why no drinking for at least 30 min..... FOREVER media] [/media- Sexual Question For The Ladies
