  1. I would say it was normal...my port site was huge the size of a grape fruit besides the incision sight in the middle of this grape fruit which was extremly sunken in looking....turns out the skin around it was swollen...now my tummy looks regular including the port and grape fruit
  2. first I would like to apologize if I offended anyone but thepoolgirl with my language it's unfortunate that she follows me everytime I post just to critique and give negative feed back...and that was built up anger from about 3 post from her. On the other hand...I stepped away from the chicken....I was approved and had my surgery 3 weeks after my first visit to my dr. I did no preop diet and basically just had to show up on the day of the surgery and then was given a booklet about post op....I didn't fully understand the importance of that diet be that's why I turned to you all for help. If you would like to offer your help, I will gladly listen to your advice, as for any negative comments... I will try my best to ignore but if you attack my character be prepared for my sharp tongue and fiesty attitude...I HOLD NO RESPECT for ignorant "know it alls" If you knew it you wouldn't be on this site and a former fat ass..
  3. So... Im starving... I cooked my hunni my world famous chicken strips last night and I was so hungry that I ate probably a half of ounce with no complications whats so ever. Did I fuck myself? I am already 15lbs down (SW 287) and I just need food...would it be okay if I ate something every now and again? Or do I really have to wait until 24 days from now?
  4. im so excited for her and you..hope all goes well!

So my hunni is blessed to be naturally thin...less than 5% body fat on him...lucky man he is! But anyway...ever since I told him I was getting this surgery...he has been drinking protein shakes and lifting weights...going to the gym like crazy...and everything! He says he wants a lot more definition...(for what? to accompany the 6 pack he already has?) Whats up with that?? Is he trying to compete with me? The other day we had an argument about me getting the surgery...He tells me I am already beautiful..and that I dont need to change a thing, then he says he thought I was a confident woman..and he may not even want to be with someone who feels as though they need to alter themselves...but the fact that I weight 287lbs means nothing to him!! What is the deal?? We are both 21..and he gets to run around like a regular man his age...but for me..he wants me to stay fat? hmmmmm Can someone please tell me what the hell is this man thinking!!! :smile2:

  10. Thank you so much for responding..I just hope everything goes awesome! I wish I could have done it earlier, but if I get it now, a year from now I know I will be happy with my body.
  11. Thanks soo much...I was thinking about doing P90X after I get the surgery done..I figure if I work out hard enough it should snap back...but seeing as I have always been fat, I am not exactly sure what it will snap back to..lol
  12. Hi! I just wanted to introduce myself to eveyrone!! I am Jessika, very excited about having this surgery on the 14th. I havent been approved yet, but my doctors are moving so rapidly that I am sure everything is a go. I am glad they gave me a date. I am more and more excited as I have been reading everyones profile!! I have lost 40lbs on my own since last december and I am proud of it..this is something great that I can say I accomplished on my own. I do need to lose 120lbs still and I know I can do it, but it will be alot easier with this LapBand. I am super excited. Does anyone else have Carefirst PPO? They said that they cover it 100% but did anyone have a problem getting approved?? Also I was wondering even though I am very heavy, what do you think about my skin? My doctor says that if I do the right type of work outs my skin wont sag so bad. Is there anyone that didnt have saggin skin?
