  1. Holes on my thighs was so me!!! I used to buy new pants everytime I went into a store because I new I would need them. I still catch myself doing this from time to time.
  2. I want to go to six flags and ride all the rides. I have been one of those people that had to leave the ride because I didn't fit, I never want to go thru that sort of embaressment again :smile2: I also want to go shopping at a normal store in the mall like Charlotee rues (sp?).
  3. I'm just really tight right now, the chicken was a little rough going down if I start to feel any pain I quickly stop and continue at next meal. I ate the potatoes to, they surprisingly went down better than the chicken :smile2:. I never thought about putting djorn on my chicken, it was some of the yummiest food I have eaten in a while, I was thinking about trying to replicate that reciepe myself. Good luck!!
  4. I also ate at Applebees today, they have a nice band friendly menu all around, I ordered the djorn chicken portebella with steamed veggies, only 550 calories and I made 3 meals out of it.
  5. Sounds yummy and very healthy, I am going to try this.
  6. I actually found it at QuikTrip (QT), not sure where you live but it is just a gas station. I usually have a Protein shake in the morning because I am just to tight to eat till lunch time. I had forgotten my Protein Shake and I was searching for something to replace it. I know they sell them at wholefoods, not sure where else. Let me know if you find them at another location.
  7. The first time I had pizza after I was banded was a pretty bad episode, I have had thin crust twice since then and that worked pretty well. But I do try to stay away from foods like that I have only tried pizza three times in a year.
  8. I have just discovered a new yummy Protein shake it is the "Naked" brand called protein zone. It has 30 grams of protein in a 15.2 ounce bottle and it is all natural. The sugar is a little high though because it is made with fruit and we all know fruit has lots of sugar but it is "good" sugar Has anybody else tried this?
  9. I'm suppose to go to a buffet with my family this weekend, I have had the card for a year now and have never used it. I was going to use it this weekend but after reading about your guys experience I don't know if I want to. I don't want to make a scene or have the counter person be rude or anything. How do you guys over come that?
  10. Will be banded one year on June 29th. I was doing great until I had a slight overfill, they ended up taking out a lot more than I thought they would and had stalled on my weight loss in January but as of right now I am doing great. I think this was the best decision I have ever made. I was actually thinking today how much more weight I would have gained this year alone if it was for my little buddy :Dancing_biggrin:
  11. Pasta and rice are a big no no for me, no mater what I will PB and not feel right for the rest of the day. I also stay away from things with heavy sauces like ranch, honey mustard and mayo, for some reason I always PB the sauce back up. Bread is something I don't eat, I can eat it if I go really slow and it is less than half a slice of bread, but I have noticed I get better results if I just stay away. Popcorn was mentioned earlier, now that is something I can and do enjoy, I never had a problem with it. I agree though that gummies are a bad idea and soda I haven't had either in well over a year. Good luck on your journey and keep us posted on how things are go.
  12. Scary stuff, sorry you had to go thru it. I hope everything turns out okay and good luck.
  13. I would so go to one if there was =)
  14. I drink Decafe tea everyday and I am still chugging on =)
  15. My sister is the same size as I used to be, we do not live in the same household but since losing almost 100 pounds I have encouraged her to start eating right and exercising just by her watching my progress. My DB (dear boyfriend) eats everything I don't, well so does my dog, he has gained a little tiny bit but he is starting to work out more and is getting back into shape. My dog actually workouts out with me, we either run/walk play fetch so she is slim and trim still =) I like that the people around me are following my lead it helps me to keep my own journey in line.
  16. I hiccup 1-2 minutes after everytime I eat. I am at the perfect restriction right now, I have been overfilled before and that isn't pretty and if I get any taken out I won't lose. I had my doc put in .2 cc's last time and that is when the hiccups came. I just look at it as a small price to pay to losing weight =) Good luck on your journey
  17. That is so awesome, congratulations!!! I will be joining you in 12 more pounds....12 more pounds till first goal, 12 more pounds till I hit 100 pounds gone forever!!!! I can't wait to be under 300 pounds.
  18. Some of my problem foods are carrots, apples, steak (unless it has been shredded like what you would put on a philly cheese steak), no bread, Pasta, rice or (like mentioned earlier chinese food) there is just something about it even the steamed veggies I have issues with. Good luck on your journey =) Also I can't do heavy sauces, like ranch, honey mustard, coleslaw sauce (the sauce in coleslaw makes me PB), I mostly stay away from sauces anyways because they are so high in calories and fat but every once in a while it would be nice to have a little.
  19. I bring a Lean Cuisine everyday to work, I buy the ones without the pasta's in there, of course I can never finish them but they are pretty yummy. They have a beef and vegtable one, (my fav) baked chicken, there are a few more I choose from just look really closely for them, they are there you just have to search them out...Good Luck!!
  20. So this has nothing to do with the band or your question, but I was wondering have you ever had any issues with your IUD, I was actually getting ready to get one because I can't stand this little pill I take on a daily basis. I am just worried that it will fall out or the string will be really noticable...any inside will help thank you!!
  21. I love this show, I even got my Boyfriend to watch it with me
  22. You just made my day =) I also go to Des Perez but I am under Dr. Follwell. Richardson actually did a slight emergency unfill for me a few months ago (I couldn't even swollow my own spit =( I am glad to hear there are some local success story's on here...keep up the good work you deserve this life.
  23. Thank You guys for your ideas, I walk everyday but I think I might step it up and try running more. I usually use two sports bra's when I am working out just so I don't have to worry about the ladies
  24. What is a great exercise that I can do to tone my inner thighs that is very effective? Is there a position I can use my free weights?
  25. I know exactly how you feel, I am so close to getting out of the 300, I am down 76 pounds since my surgery and I want to be in the Twoterville so bad it will be just wonderful!!!! Congrats and keep up the hard work!!:thumbup::thumbup:
