Hello everybody well I had my surgery on Monday at 10:30. I am in a little pain but nothing to bad. My surgery went good but I had a problem with my breathing and my oxygen level after the surgery. So I had to stay in the CCU department but everything is just fine now. I am trying to move around as much as possible I took a walk outside when I got home yesterday. I have not been hungry yet since the surgery but I have been trying to drink one protein shake since yesterday it is almost done with it. I know there is a few people that had the surgery done on Monday the 17th I was just wondering how they are doing. Well I am going to go take a walk. :thumbup:

As I am sitting in front of my laptop, I cant ignore the sounds coming from my stomach. I am on the two week pre-op diet and MAN my stomach is letting me know that I am not getting enough food. I have six more days to go and it seems like the sounds are getting louder and LOUDER. But what can I do about it nothing I guess. I was thinking about recording the sounds and maybe make a hit record out of them. Well I guess this is the price we have to pay to look beautiful and to be health. Well that is really all I have to say for now. If anybody else is having this music coming from them let me know. I am starting my count down on Wednesday after my pre-op appointment. Congratulation on getting your surgery date. It is cool that we have the same appointment date and surgery date. Good luck with it I am sure everything will go good. I am 29 and I have had problems all my life too. I want to start a family but I could not see myself starting one with the weight that I am. Keep in touch and let me know how your surgery went. I just got my surgery date. I am being banded on 8/17/09. ten days away. I am count them down. this pre op diet is making me crazy. i am so hungry all of the time. good luck to everybody getting it done this month. Kevin

Great job! I just got my surgery date 8/17/09. Keep up the good work, I had to lose about 10 lbs before I could schedule my surgery. I worked out for about 5 days a week and I dropped 12 lbs in two weeks. Just keep working hard the 22 lbs will come off fast.

I got the great news :frown: this past week my pre op appointment is Wednesday 8/12/09 and my surgery is 8/17/09 yes it is only ten days away. Kim Marley is the surgeon that is doing the surgery in Windber,PA. His team is great, all of them are so friendly and always very helpful if I run in to a problem. I will keep posting as I go throw this. I am new to this site and new to blogging so I am looking forward this journey.
