Hey Dr C (or anyone else that knows) I have a question---how is it that you can loose clothing sizes but no freaking weight??? I haven't lost a SINGLE pound since my last fill 4 weeks ago, but dropped from a 18/20 to a 14/16....how????

I have to ditto everyone here, no you will never be able to eat by what you think is normal again, but that is a GOOD thing. I am still surprised that I now find fast food disgusting!

He isn't really THAT young, I would say 40 or a bit older. He is not se green he is still in diapers. He did assit on mine. They always work together. I am sure he has done WELL more than 50!

Dr. Wagner is better Faith! He explains things more and is a bit more agressive with fills. Dr. Obeid is good as well, but I have seen them all and he is my favorite. He assisted with my surgery!

I have gone down from a 48J to a 40J. (Yes I did say a J..) I have noticed that while I am still the same cup size, they are not as full as they once were, but a J, I am thinking I am ok if I do! lol...

OK Bj, I am confused are you saying the bartender SHOULD be held accountable for YOU making a choice, yourself and drinking? What happens to you being responsible for your own actions? Do you KNOW what a bartender makes an hour?? Throw babysitting into it, and there is no point in being one. Most do not make it a habit of serving those we feel are over the limit. But someone can be over their limit and the bartender NOT know it. We would be a very good example of that. We can not drink more than 1 and be over the legal limit almost.

I agree that you can help him, however I think it may be more of a teaching thing. If you can help him, buy him the things he wants and NEEDS to eat. Teach him how to take care of himself. At 15, he is not too young to take responsibility for his own life, even if it means going against your mom. I think you should sign them up for Honey We are Killing the Kids. That Tlc program. Maybe that will knock some sense into her!

Ok I used to be a bartender, and I agree that they have some responsibility to the rest of the world to cut people off when they are over the limit, BUT let's be realistic. THEY CAN NOT MONITOR everyone. They do not sign up to be babysitters, they are bartenders. I would make friends with my regulars and learn how to cut them off without making a big deal about it. BUT there have been times I have been physically assaulted for cutting someone off. The bottom line is, it is NOT a bartender's job to know YOUR limits. This is coming from someone who lost a family member to a drunk driver. I do not hold the bartender responsible. It was HIS choice to drink and drive. Bartenders actually take on a lot of roles that can help to cut someone off, but I do not feel that it ultimately their job. If I cut someone off, and they are determined to drink that night they will continue to do so.

Morning girls. I am wondering since we are all complaining that we are doing the right things but the scale is not moiving is that typical for this time of year or something? Something in the enviroment? lol...I have no clue just trying to make sense of this stuff! Thanks for the comments girls. I am very excited about it, but I am debating to those I have not come out of the band closet with, should I tell them before the book comes out or let them read it and also read WHY I didn't tell them????

And no diet or weight loss plan will ever work until you feel that you are worth it. I had to come to terms with my past to be able to embrace my future. If I didn’t understand why I was fat, no matter what I did I was bound to repeat it. My success would not come from me cutting anything out of my life, but adding something so much more, self love. Love in short, can move mountains, even when you place them in front yourself!

Thanks. Maybe when my Dr made the comment about the guy with 4 ccs who is constantly vommiting she should have mentioned that it can cause slippage. Like I said she was very non-shalant (sp) when she talked about it. She was using it to point out to me that I have nothing to worry about. Maybe she should have used something else! I don't have a problem with it, but I am convienced if I vommit once it is all over for me...lol...I am a freak I guess! Thanks again!

Ok Dr C, this slip thing scares the crap out of me. How hard is it to slip or is it not hard at all? I get nervous now even being around my kids when they are sick, I think in the end I could end up throwing up and then slipping. But my Dr is very blasie about it. She even told me about a paitent she has that throws up everytime he eat bc he has no idea what restriction is. Am I a worry wart? She makes me feel like I am. Is there any guidance with this??

Hey Ladies I am so freaking excited, I had to share with all of my girls.... I am in the middle of writing a book, on my weight loss journey. I have been shopping it around and have finally found an agent! No joke! I am so phyched. She is now shopping around my 1st couple of chapters to get me a book deal...I am so stoked! WOOO HOOOOO..... It has been my goal since I was like 8 to be published so this is really a big deal.

Very very true. I think that most of us never think of those situations, we only look in our back yard. Sad! I am at fault for this one as well. But my focus is here. We can not help anyone else until we can help ourselves.

BJ--I agree with you. I left a church because I was being told how to vote, not in a sermon, not in in those words but every action the church did. I was made to feel like I was a sinner because I am not a Republican. I never have been, nor will ever be! I believe strongly that my political beliefs do not belong to my church, nor should they be part of the decision whether I am a good christian or not. God will NOT send me to hell because I am a Liberal, I am sure of that. If so, I am pretty sure I will be meeting Mother Theresa down there as well! I agree that many christians are fast to point their fingers, but I am one to believe that when I point my finger, there are 4 pointing back at me. And, I am not God, nor should I make any judgements about how someone else chooses to live their life. I am not Republican because I feel that they do not support my goals in life. Not because I am pressured by my church to choose them. And if you are a member of a church where there is no political agenda, where are you? I seriously want to come.
