  1. Ok Carlene, I see your point, but I have to speak the truth. My mom is a Florist as well as my best friend being one. SO I have seen all kinds of brides, and the thing I have learned is, it IS ALL ABOUT THEM. As it should be. What they do, say or choose may not have reasons to the rest of us. They have this picturebook dream in their head that spells out their wedding. Nothing anyone else can say or do can change that. Those dreams are what brings out the Brideszillas. In my opinion I think you were right to be concerned about the other girl, but if she doesn't fit in to Auntie's picturebook, there is nothing you can do to help that. There is no cut and paste! I am sorry for the little girl, who really is the one who deserves to be upset and can't understand.
  2. lol....why would you need both?? ROTFL...most of the time I see no reason for one! :cake:
  3. OMG!!!!!!!!! TOOO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  4. Nat--I am sorry sweetie you are upset. Just cry and let it all out! Crying is better than stress eating! :girl_hug: I'll cry with you, I feel like crap lately. Vab--you need to take care of yourself too! Don't always put everyone else first or you will all be in trouble. After all if Mom falls down, we all fall down! Take some me time! Steph--You lucky girl! Enjoy your time off! I am so jelous. I am on Spring Break from MSU but it hasn't been much of a break at all. Too much going on! Wear those pj's proud girl, you deserve it once and awhile! BV--Go to the Dr and get checked out! Better safe than sorry! As far as me, I am a freaking mess. I am very worried I am going to end up divorced soon. All we do is fight over everything. Nothing I do is ever right. THe D word has been said no less than every other day lately. The girls are getting really upset all of the time. And DH said no to counceling. I just don't see much hope anymore. :cake: I wish I could just disappear for years.....ugh...
  5. I have never been either! DH wants to go very bad, but we are going to make a trip to Vegas this year, so I don't know if we will or not!
  6. Hey all, Just a quick note to tell you all that I am still alive! I have been at the hospital with my mom. I think I told all of you she had the RenY. She is having MAJOR problems! She now not only has an infection, but a stricture as well! She is miserable. Of course all of the stress is getting to me, and I haven't lost a damn pound since I got the unfill....ugh....be back soon to catch up! Miss you all! :straight
  7. OK Now guys, I am going to vent on this! There are many of you that I am not so happy with. But I will address you as a whole and you will know if I mean you! Yes, maybe she needed some attention, but do you think being RUDE and MEAN is the answer? There are a few that I once respected that have lost it. When someone does this, they are crying out for help basically. You don't ahve to provide support at that point if you don't want to, but why verbally stone someone? If this is frustrating to you when someone does this I have a simple answer...don't respond! Being rude or mean is just pointless and adding to the fact that some people do not think this is a supportive place! :scared:
  8. Nat--I am so sorry the man is rearing the ugly jelousy head. But I would hate to tell you but it is better he does it now than later! At least if he does it early you can still get out heart intack! Is that making sense? lol.. Nikki-- don't beat yourself up. It happens to ALL of us. I think every BODY is different and how your body looses is different. I had the scale stuck for what seemed like forever and it ended up moving! Good luck and keep your chin up! Bannie-you are rocking it girl! What an inspiration! To all the sickies, I am sorry! Big hugs and chicken soup for all of you! :sick
  9. Steph-- I got it on Friday .50cc's, which I NEVER do! I told her it would be too tight, but the new PA must have not trusted me about my own body. I just actually could NOT physically eat or drink. If I did it would not go down, I could feel it in my chest. I was able to take tiny sips. I had absolutely no desire on earth to eat, so I didn't. Va--so sorry you are still sick. :sick I hope you get over this soon! Now you will be carrying it into March...yuck! Kay--hope you get to your goal of 50! How close are you?
  10. Hello ladies I went this morning for a unfill. When I got there it was found out that I had lost OVER 7 pounds since Friday afternoon. Obviously in this case it was not a good thing! I got .25ccs back out and I am feeling much better. I was to the point this morning I had a hard time driving my car because it is stick and my brain could not function! The Dr told me she could tell I was severely dehydrated and my body was starting to shut down! Then I pulled my shirt up to expose the tummy and she shrieked! lol.. She was sure that I had lost all of those 7 pounds in my subqueten (??) fat! I have never felt so good to be able to actually drink water... And I know I should have gone in sooner. I knew I was bad, I just thought it would get better. I really had no idea how bad!
  11. Thanks to all of you for posting! I went in today and got .25ccs taken back out. I had lost 7 pound since Friday's fill! My brain had actually gotten to the point that I couldn't even shift my car! Dr told me it was my body's way of telling me that I was in trouble!
  12. I agree that we all fall off the wagon sometimes. If we didn't have addictive tendencies we wouldn't have the band. What you do afterwards will make or break your sucess. If you decide in your head "Oh man, that was stupid I am never doing that again" you're ok. But if you decided "That wasn't so bad, once in awhile won't hurt" you're headed for trouble. Once in awhile will turn into once a month, once a week, once a day and so on. I met a lady in the hospital when my mom had her Reny (Yes she regrets it now!) who told my mom there was no way to loose weight with the band, ect. All of those bad things that we hear. She had been banded longer than me and had gained weight. Well here I stroll in and had at that time lost 75 pounds in 7 months. She did not like me, but then started asking me what I was doing ect. If there is something you can do wrong with the band she was doing it. It was all out crazy. After talking to her VERY long (excrucuating) time she realized that she was doing well when she followed the rules, but she started the "it's ok it's just one day" routine and fell downhill from there. Her Dr was ready to give up on her and remove her band. Moral of the story...never let one day follow you into the next!
  13. I get up for work at 4 am, and am at work by 7 am. So not being able to eat is hard then. But I am thinking I really am just too tight. I have NO desire what so ever to eat, drink anything. I can't even finnish a bottle of water all day... not good! I am going in the morning!
  14. I DITTO that EXACTLY!
  15. Hello all, I just got a fill Friday and not been so great. No Pbing, but just a generaly tightness. And then I noticed it went away a bit ago. I called Dr and they said some people have more restriction in the a.m. and they don't know why. I have been contemplating an unfill of some, but if it will be tight just in the morning I can deal with it. Anyone else have this or is it just me?
  16. Bv--glad to hear it! I am sorry sometimes things get rough. I am so glad to have all of you! If you need us, you know we are all here! Nat--I am so happy for you! I am glad you live near me, so I can come raid your closet when I become a 14! lol...I am glad your trip ended better, and so glad things are well with the ex. And tell your man we all said "hi" wink wink! BK--I need to start selling on ebay. You really do good? Kay---hunk of metal? lol...we won't hold that transgression over your head!
  17. I totally agree, what is the freaking difference what kind of medical help you get?? Drugs with unknown long term side effects are better? Pleaseeeee... Ugh! Lol..she is in the same building as my new Dr and she saw me once and asked why she hasn't been seeing me. I told her it wa because she was rude, bull headed and refused to listen to her paitents. That felt so good!
  18. I agree, I think that the internet doesn't always help in laying things out the way you really mean! After all there is no tone, no voice just words, that are left out on their own open to interpretation!
  19. I agree Marrissa. Take things easy right now, and worry about getting your body back to being healed. The rest will follow! Get yourself into good habits now so that they just become a general lifestyle!
  20. I am glad you see the truth! Feel free to PM me, I want to talk! We don't have to share our ball with the bullies if we don't want to! MY BALL, MY BALL! lol...
  21. Good luck Keith! Keep us all posted on your great coming sucess!
  22. Thank you for the welcome! I am so looking forward to Spring. I feel good enough about myself now to want to be seen on the bike! Maybe this year I will start riding by myself again!
  23. I am sorry Dahlia I strongly DISAREE with you on this point, a few people being jerks is not the entire board. I am again sorry that both of you have to put up with this, but if you leave you let them win. And I am sorry sweetie but that will do nothing for your self esteem. Find those who are here to support you and ignore the rest. Sometimes I feel like I am on a playground again here but I take it with a grain of salt. I FEEL SORRY FOR THE JERKS that they have nothing more important in life to do than to pick on others...
  24. Steph---the only way it will move during your time of the month is the WRONG way! Stay away from that scale until your visitor leaves! You are going to drive yourself nuts! I am wondering if I am too tight from the fill on Friday. I don't want to eat anything, nor even drink my Water. I jsut feel too full to do so. I have stopped PBing, I finally found a decongestant to work! YEAH! Where do you draw the line if you aren't PBing and aren't sure if you are too tight?
  25. Dahlia Because of your age can tell you it will be a b*tch for you to get SSI, I went through it with my husband! If you want some help with it please let me know. I went in front of the judge when we were told by EVERY lawyer we could find that there was no way a man of 28 was getting disability and I got it for him. The judge actually asked me when I was graduating from law school. (I am not in law school...lol...) PM your email, I would be more than happy to help you!
