Surgery this Friday (PV, Mex) Tell me what to take!
I agree with you -- I have found that I really really like the tropical punch crystal lite popsicles - they have a GREAT flavor. Albertson's had them on sale (may still be) for $1.99 box - they're not even that cheap at Wal-Mart ($2.38)

Breast and shoe size???
I hope my cup size doesn't go down - however, I am hoping the band size goes down a lot ... wonder if that is possible ... My shoe size grew with each pregnancy -- thank goodness there were only 2 - so I went from a size 8 to a size 10 ... I'm hoping they get smaller - although will cost a fortune to replace all my boots and shoes ... worth it for the weight loss though! Thank goodness, too, that he doesn't have man boobs! ... and he's already saving his money for my perk job and implants in necessary.

You've got that right Beckie ... I am so looking forward to Friday and some answers and encouragment that this is normal or at least if it's not normal, for a fix for whatever the problem might be.

I did it, i did it, i did it
Thanks - don't think I would have ever figured that one out!

Starting to get nervous....
Mac - have you tried GNC online?

I did it, i did it, i did it
I am afraid of that too. No one believes I am 51 and I always say it's because I'm so fat it pulls all the wrinkles out of my face ... I'm afraid that's going to change .. only time will tell I guess. BTW - what does KWIM mean?

WOW--so happy!!
I've heard that not all doctors use a drainge tube -- mine did and it was the only thing that hurt after surgery.

Hyaluronic Acid-would it help with recovery from surgery?
That gives me hope Mac -- I've progressed from crushing them to cutting them into small pieces ... however, I have to take them with yogurt or applesauce to get them down. So hopefully one day I'll get my mojo back too!

i am struggling here
Will the swelling show on a GI? I am having one done on Friday while Bob is doing his pre-op tests? How long does the swelling last? It will be 4 weeks on 7/10. I too burb like a man and it's quite embarassing at times as sometimes there is no warning! Mostly it is at home, and although it's still embarrasing, generally it's only in front of Bob. It's a terrible feeling and I sure hope it goes away and I can be like others that say they can't even tell they had surgery other than they can't eat as much. I have the slimes/foaming under control at least.

Got my date!
WOO HOO FOR YOU! I bought some unflavored samples of Syntrax from Vitalady so am going to give that a try. I had the cappucino and the carribean cooler today -- wasn't able to drink them all - still have them though -- they are not bad; however, I think they will taste better cold or even slushie ... I was in Court all day so had to use room temp bottled water -- at least it was something and I got down about 1/2 of each one.

i am struggling here
Well I have to be honest here and say "THIS SUCKS" and I hope that I will not feel this way forever. I mean if I do, not much I can do about it; however, it wasn't what I was hoping for when I got the surgery -- sure, eating less that I expected -- but the feeling of constantly feeling sick or that something is stuck isn't much fun at all.

I'm off!
Have an awesome vacation and good luck with your surgery on 7/23 - we'll be looking to hear from you when you're able and most definitely when you get home. Bon voyage!
-
Hey Ya'll!
That is a strange combination, but then, I probably eat things that people find weird too! Will be waiting to hear about your surgery date. Keep us posted.

anyone have VSG with Dr. Pleatman
I agree - it is getting OLD very quickly. I'm tired of hearing from you Dr. Pleatman. I don't even know you personally and I already don't like you. Don't you have anything better to do with your time than try and convince us you're the better surgeon? and to call other surgeon's names?

Head hunger
I've received responses from Gaby and Nina at all hours of the day and night -- I swear they must never sleep!

Hyaluronic Acid-would it help with recovery from surgery?
I have a difficult time still swallowing any pill whole - and I am 3 weeks out from surgery -- I no longer have to crush them; however, I do have to cut them into small pieces to get them down and usually have to take them with yogurt or applesauce so they slide down easier. If you are taking any medication that is XR you need to have your PCP write you a script for ones that are not XR and can be cut, crushed or liquified. My doctor does not recommend carbonated drinks, at least until you hit the solid food stage - and then I am not sure. I don't drink them and haven't in 25 years, so it's not something that I ever bothered checking into. Welcome to the forum!
