  1. Unless you are a fugitive on the run I don’t really see an issue
  2. The universe is testing you all
  3. Why can’t you get surgery?
  4. This losing weight and keeping it off business is no easy task. It doesn’t seem to matter what weapons one has in ones arsenal. We can win a battle but at no stage can we say we have won the war. It seems that a permanent solution for weight control is as much of a pipe dream as world peace
  5. I hope there was no double dipping!
  6. B vitamins are generally the ones that affect nerves. But there could be other causes. Maybe you have a trapped nerve somewhere or your footwear is causing the issue.
  7. Can't you just put them in your mouth and swallow with some water without tasting them?
  8. There is a certain point in the relationship when the thing that should attract a partner most is their personality and mind not their looks. We all age, get wrinkles, saggy bits etc. Some of us gain weight, others lose but inside it is still the person that you loved. It's sad when a person forgets that
  9. Constipation? If we extrapolate that further then we get Diet, high protein, low carb, low fibre etc So maybe what is causing this spike is the focus on protein and not enough roughage.
  10. I hope you do get some answers as it sounds awful. Cushings is something that causes lots or weight gain so if this is the issue it’s a pity they didn’t test and rule it out prior to surgery as then you may not have required the WLS as well. Are you still bleeding or has that resolved?
  11. Sounds like a great alternative to sleeping pills

  13. Well then we will be twins.
  14. There was a study done a number of years ago ( approx 2013) that showed that obese patients that underwent WLS had an increased risk of developing colo rectal cancers . Whilst obesity is a risk factor for these cancers for some reason the rate became higher in people that had surgery. This seems odd as one would think that having the surgery and losing weight would cause a decrease in risk. Wondering if there have been any further studies done and what the outcome of those was.
  15. What are you going to do about the fibroid?
  16. elcee replied to krazymel24's topic in The Gals' Room
    Seriously, what do you think?
  17. Sorry you are going through this. No brilliant ideas. Maybe you could go and watch a movie, one that you want to see but know that he would have hated. Get together with friends . Go shopping.
  18. I didn’t think there were any other options these days.
  19. I'm 56 on Wed. Having my bypass in Jan
  20. I started wearing them on a fatter finger. I also have an issue where my fingers swell in the heat but shrink lots in winter. No point in getting my rings adjusted as I would be doing it twice a year!
  21. For an experienced surgeon it’s not that much more complicated.
  22. That is a wonderful success story, well done
  23. Good luck, hope it all goes well
