  1. Congrats. I am beginning training to due a half marathon in Sept. I am a little worried I will give up though because that what I am use to doing. Hoe did you plug through when you wanted to give up? Again congratulations.
  2. Hi This has happened to me but further out I have had the band for a year and I have to go in on Thursday for a port revision because mine flip too. Hope they are able to flip your backs.
  3. Hi I went through true results in Scottsdale and I love them. I have had my band for over a year and have had some port issues. They have always been available to me to answer questions or to get me in if I needed an unfill. The surgeon even came in one day he was not scheduled to be there to help with the unfill. They would be worth looking into. I love them. Good luck !!
  4. ME and my best friend had some adjusting to do to after my surgery. She was always the thin one so I think she had some comfort in that. We have been friends forever so we finely had it out and said what we both needed to. Things are better now and she is supportive. May be you should try talking to her, if you want to save the relationship because at this point what do you have to lose. Good luck
  5. Hi I am in Az to. Had my surgery with True Results and have love it.
  6. yep i HAVE HAD MY BAND A YEAR AND HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM I thought it might be from losing weight? Anyway I live in AZ so come summer it not much of a problem and I have learned to carry light sweaters.
  7. Hey Barbara Just wanted to get back to you. I haven't had any nips and tucks and not sure if I will. I could use a tummy tuck and thigh lift but I am a little afraid of going under anesthesia so I might just become really good and dressing to disguise it. Have a great week. And good luck with your journey.
  8. Here is my dilemma, So I have lost quite a bit of weight and we are coming onto bathing suit season. My thighs are yucky there is extra skin. Do you have any suggestions on how to camouflage this in a bathing suit? Thanks
  9. I am trying to put before and after pics. Hope this works
  10. Hi you should call your doctor. I have had my band to tight but it keep me from eating mostly bread which was o.k. but you need to always be able to get liquids down. Don't worry about the weight loss it will come. It took about four months before I started to lose any weight. Good luck
  11. That poem was great and I really needed to see it today. Thanks for putting down exactly how I feel.
  12. Hi Has anyone had to have a port revision? Can you tell me what it is like and what the recovery is like? Thanks
