Dr. Nirmul did my surgery on 04/09/2010. He is a good surgeon, I have had zero issues!

ckesseler@hotmail.com, if you look at my profile there is a social group for Az bandsters. There are a bunch of us!

Hey there... banded in Sept 09..Doctor Juarez, In Arizona.

I'm in AZ too, banded by Dr. Blackstone of Scottsdale Bariatric Center. Unfortunately, my insurance just dropped Blackstone so she is no longer in-network for me. I need to switch to another doctor for fills, but there's only a few that my insurance covers. Dr. Terry Simpson is one of them. Has anyone gone to him and know his process for fills?

I to was banded by Dr. Nirmul, January 15th 2010. i have had no issues with the band whatsoever......he is a good doctor. Some issues with True Results taking up to over an hour past my apt. time to get a fill. other than that no isues. Im down 30lbs and LOVE my band!!!!!!!:lol::coolB::tt2::tt2::tt1:

who did your surgery in Mexico?

I'm hopefully being banded by Dr. Terry Simpson this summer. Still jumping through insurance hoops so keeping fingers crossed.

To a previous poster - Dr. Simpson takes on already banded patients but you have to pay a one time program fee. Not sure how much it is.

So cool to see others near me in Bandland! :scared2:

I was banded on Tuesday at Northwest Hospital in Tucson. My surgeon is Stephen Burpee. No pain or nausea experienced as yet but I did everything he told me to including the 2 week pre-op diet.

Hi..I was banded on Jan 22, 2010. I went through True Results in Scottsdale and also had Dr. Nirmul. I am feeling good and looking slimmer!!

I went through True Results and Dr. Nirmul for my surgery also! I'm about 9 months in and I'm doing great with no fills at all.

I was banded by Dr. Simpson 1/5/10 and love him and his staff. They are attentive and really listen. If you have a problem or question you can email him or his staff and they'll get back to you. His followup is thorough, I didn't have one problem with the surgery or any of the fills.
