    I have been hitting the weights as well. In the beggining it was to aide in the weight loss. Now, I like the burn and tightness of my body, under the chub thats still there.

  2. Yea, its been forever! That is great to hear about you loss! I have lost 70lbs so far. It is difficult at times to break the stalls. My own fault! I have a new tool, my wife has just got on board with the weight loss idea, this makes it easier to persuade her not to bring in those nasty little treat! You should post pics, I bet you are smokin hot!! Lets see!!!!!!

  4. I know, slow down take smaller bites and eat the right stuff so you dont get stuck. Well sometimes I forget, I am starting to get more and more restriction and it takes this old dog some time to learn. When I do get stuck though I cant seem to get the offending object out. I try to burp it up but can never get it to the top. I have on occasion got a lot of phlegm up, but never the offender. So all you PB pro's its time to step up and help a newb out. How the heck do I get it up????? The stuck object that is! :biggrin::laugh::thumbup::frown:

  7. I have BCBS of Az administered by AmeriBen. Once they got the paper work it was in a day or two. Not long at all. The biggest wait was the Surgeons office. Good luck!

    I dont know about drinking it to help keep you full. But I sure in the heck drink it to help keep me regular! I didnt post op for the first 5 months and paid for it with a very painful surgery to the back side. OUCH!!!!!!!!!! Make fiber a part of your daily diet.
  10. Doing well, 62lbs total. I have stalled out pretty good. I understand why and am working on it. Been hitting the gym pretty regular and pretty hard. I enjoy being me! My wife asked last night what happened to her husband. I told her, he got fat, I am giving you back the guy you married! Good to hear from you all and look forward to hearing from the rest.   11. I have BCBS administered by Ameriben in Arizona. They were really good and fast. Have you had your sleep study, blood work done, and all the other tests to check for Co-Morbidities? BCBS requires two with BMI of 35 to 40. Other than that, next time you weigh in drink ALOT of water before you go.

  13. You need to make Metamucil or such a part of your daily diet. I did not do this and am now paying for it dearly. Due to the constipation and straining I got a grade 4 hemroid. I had it operated on last thursday and am still in pain. YOUCH!!!!!! Do your self a favor start now, you will be surprised at how regular you will become.

    Another on board. Benn banded since April 2010, going good. Weight loss is what you put in to it, if you work hard and exercise regularly the pounds will come off. The thing that I hate the most is when I cook a nice meal for the family and get 3 bites down and get stuck! Ughh, that sucks, I have learned to just push the plate away and be done with it. Good luck guys, it's a piece of cake.

  16. I was in need of some encouragement this morning so I found a pic I had taken several years ago that I actually thought looked. Then I had my wife take a pic this A.M. at about the same angle. Man did I get the encouragement I was looking for! What I journey it has been so far. I am half way there! Take a look at what I saw this morning! The first pic is the one I thought looked good, followed by this mornings picture. I have to laugh at the old me. Or maybe its the newish me that makes me giddy. Not sure but what the heck I am loving it!:cursing::blushing::smile::couch2::smile::smile2:

  23. Brad, i have been reading some of your post and have a few questions for you. I went to a site and got my BMR, it is 2390 cal, then I calculated my activity level which recommended I multiply my BMR by 1.5. This figure came out 3700 calories a day to maintain. If I go by your recommendation of a 750 deficit that would put me at 2995 cals a day. Is this correct? It seems like an awful lot of calories. Will you also please explain exactly how you cycle your calories? Do I do a week at 3700 then a week at 2995? And continue my work out routine the entire time? Also with my work out routine, i don't change it much I am doing the same exercises week in and week out. Should I cycle that as well? You are a wealth of knowledge my man. I hope to garner some good information from you, Waynooo
