  1. I've had pain in my center chest since surgery. It's subsiding now and I can drink water without feeling like I'm having center pressure pain. I did eat some cream of wheat and I had severe pains in my stomach. One come to believe I ate too quickly. Is your pain associated with eating or just a constant pain?
  2. Was just thinking about you! You must be out of surgery by now. I know you probably wont be on for a few days, but I wish you a very speedy recovery. If you need anything please let me know. Take care!
  3. Sorry, I see you have surgery tomorrow. It's not a picnic, but the rewards are worth it. I would just tell your nurse to give you all the pain meds..that's what has helped me most. Best wishes tomorrow. 1 week and you will feel 90% better! Let me know how you do. I see you are a fellow Washingtonian. ?
  4. I had surgery 8 days ago and it was pretty rough, however most of the pain is gone and I've lost 28 pounds with my pre-op diet. You can tell in my face already and I'm shopping this morning for some new clothes. So excited for you! Big changes coming! When is your surgery? Best wishes!
  5. I I can't figure put how to update my stats. Maybe I need to be on my computer?
  6. You'll get there girl. It is not where you start, but where you finish. P.S. I'm a hefty girl too, but getting smaller. lol
  7. I forgot to say, I bought a bottle of capsules vitamins that i can take post-op 1 month. Maybe check it out.
  8. I agree. I started then today as well and they're awful! But, I don't think a chewable with iron would be good in any brand. I have bariatric fusion in orange cream. Yuck!
  9. The pain was a large cramping and would subside and come again. Happened about 15 minutes and was very painful! I've at small amounts of honey. I'm going to look into stevia. I'm not fond of it, but it is better than the others. I definitely will be ultra careful eating from now on.
  10. I'm doing great otherwise. I've lost 27 pounds and people notice. I have bags under my eyes and they have dramatically reduced. It seems all around inflammation reducing. It's a wonderful feeling. I don't think it was the sugar. The Dr's have sent me home with laden sugary pain medicine that is liquid. I've not had one problem with it. I honestly think it was way too thick and it expands. I also think I ate too fast. Thanks so much for asking Goody! I hope you are doing great too!
  11. It's so nice to have this special group of February sleevers. I look forward to seeing many more weight loss victories! Congrats Emzbee! Were all with you!
  12. I think it was too thick and maybe too much. Possibly the sugar. Will skip the sugar next time and make it very thin and SLOW DOWN! Thanks for the encouragement!
  13. Omg I never want that to happen again!
  14. I definitely am still healing, as I'm only a week out. Maybe too much too fast? Best wishes on your upcoming surgery!
  15. Well, that's why I asked. Since I'm a week out from surgery, I would think that's an odd question.
  16. Are you being facetious?
  17. You're a very pretty girl! Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! I will follow you. I'm one week out and have lost 27pounds. You will do great!
  18. Before I start I would ask that you please be kind or don't comment. I'm very emotional this last week. I had surgery 1 week ago today. I was all excited I get to go to full liquids today. I had half a YQ yogurt today and was fine. I ate baby bites. I had 1 cup mushroom soup strained. For some reason soup I can get to go down without pain and relatively quick. I'm allowed to have cream of wheat and put a tiny amount of brown sugar (I do not use ss) and fair life milk. It seems clumpy and thick but I tried to stir and rolled it around my mouth. I had to stop. I felt extremely full. Not sure if I are to fast or what, but I though I was going to die for 15 minutes. Terrible stomach cramps, which pretty much just subsided. I'm scared to death and never, ever want that to happen again. Do you know what happened? Thank you for your help!
  19. I hope you did well! My daughter seems to wanna throw me on the scaled every day lol
  20. What about chilli? Lots of protein.
  21. I start them tomorrow. I bet they get tiresome quick? can you add unflavored protein with fruits, greens etc. I've heard avacado is good.
  22. Omg I love egg drop soup! I bought some, but have to wait 2 more weeks.
  23. Omg my meds are making me?? I though I read you were from Alaska. Lol
  24. Haha. We should call you frozfroz! ? It's just the oddest thing to me. I think it's better than sweating bullets! Stay warm in Alaska, I'm your neighbor in Washington. ??
