  1. Just thinking that's a long time. Mine is full diet starting the 5th week, which is Monday for me. I I have a very tight restriction, so it may take longer to get in the 1c per meal. I can only get in 1/3 right now, and that's hard. Good luck!
  2. I heard nothing for about 5 months during the phase of my getting my requirements done. I think that's normal. It will come soon. ?
  3. Mine said when I'm at full food that we should shoot for 60-75.
  4. His, So I'm 25 days out and on soft foods. I do ok with foods, buy can hardly eat much. The radiologist told me I should only feel fullness and not pain. Pain seems to be the first sign I get. Just wanting to know if this is normal or not? Thanks!
  5. She may have gastroparesis. It affects the stomach walls.
  6. I have medicare. Also, I had my surgery at St Francis, Federal Way.
  7. My part was 250, but they never asked for it. I offered to pay and they told me to wait for the bill.
  8. Mine didn't last long, but people here have taken gas-x and found relief. Might be worth a dry.
  9. I’m so sorry about the virus but so glad it wasn’t something more serious. So you DID have air bubbles this far out? Yes. He said there was 3 small air bubbles. Weird thing is I've had the shoulder and back pain this past week. Had it after surgery 1 day and not again till this last week. This radiologist was so caring. He said I'm going to make sure this means nothing. They had me so freaked out, but he assured me. I have a follow up with my surgeon on Friday. I'm so ready to feel better. Thanks for caring!
  10. So, I got home at 10 PM last night. It was a long day! They thought I had a leak. 1 cat scan, upper Gi and back to the cat scan and he says I'm ok. He said he's never seen air bubbles at 3 weeks post op. I must have a virus. I was so weak and ran a fever for 3 days. I seen to feel a little better, but still weak. I'm going to try and get more food in today. I'm at 40 lbs lost and I've not had a lot of nutrition. I ate some fruit, first time since surgery and going to eat eggs in a bit. Thanks for all your concerns! I love this site! You ALL are amazing!!??
  11. I have had a bumpy road and felt regret ant the same stage. You will get better and hopefully change your mind. Best wishes!
  12. I have the same problem. I'm 22 days out and haven't drank one. I can't stand whey. It makes me gag. I'm going to look into a protein bar and see if I have better luck.
  13. Dr says they've contacted my Surgeon. They saw a possible perforation in my chest cavity. I've had pain with some liquids and food. Doing an upper Gi soon. I'm scared of having surgery again.
  14. Back in the ER with right abdominal pain. I can't catch a break. Waiting on a ct scan.
  15. That's a terrible shame they didn't. To me this was a very painful surgery.
  16. It's very early still. I was in tremendous pain for over a week and use my pain meds for about 10 days. They sent me home with oxycodone and hydrocodone and it helped a lot. I hope you feel better soon!
  17. Check your potassium. I was in the ER yesterday with all the same things, plus high bp, high bs and a fever. I'm severely low and was barely having any energy for 4 days. I think the diarrhea caused all my problems. Good luck feeling better!
  18. I didn't cheat at all the first week. I couldnt eat. I have started a little early on other stages. Just make sure to be careful. I had a bad experience and everything I eat I chew to death now. Good luck!
  19. I'm almost 3 weeks out and these last 4 days have been hell. I'm ok where meeting my protein goals. Water is definitely #1 and I drank 2 small V8's to help with electrolytes. My friend also suggest smart water, so doing that too. Dr says my sugar is going high to compensate for the low potassium. Good news, my bs is only 178 tonight as I'm getting ready for bed, so hopefully that means my potassium is coming back up. 4 days practically in bed all day=no fun. Granddaughter came to visit and set up all her dolls on my nightstand,so we could play. Gotta love her for being creative. Lol
  20. Thanks Goody. I'm going to check out where there may be a dehydrating clinic till I feel better. Glad your feeling better!
  21. What caused your fever, do they know? I’m sorry you’re feeling so poorly. I hope they find you some relief and answers soon. {{{hugs}}} No. He said he thought I had a stomach bug. I had a fever again today, but took a tylenol and it's better. Stomach is still upset with diarrhea. He gave me anti-nausea pills as well. Almost lost my dinner.
  22. I went to the ER, because I developed a 101.8 fever. My bp was over 200 and my bs was high 200's. The diahreah caused low potassium and they said was causing my bs to be so high. I had an infusion and a bag of saline. I'm home and still feel weak, but hopefully soon I will get over this bump in the road.
  23. Yeah I had that. Pretty sure it's normal, but you might check with your Dr. I no longer get it and I'm 18 days out.
  24. I feel the same way lately. Food is become unappealing.
  25. No update. They did bloodwork at 3 PM PST and hopefully tomorrow I will know something. I'm taking imodium and my daughter bought me pedialyte. I will go to the ER tomorrow if I'm still really weak tomorrow. For now I'm trying to drink drink drink.
