  1. I have a serious dislike for artificial sweeteners as well. I found a protein at target I really like. It's made by Integrated Supplements. It comes in vanilla, chocolate & strawberry. I also saw it came in chocolate chip mint online, but haven't seen it lately. Maybe seasonal? Good luck on your weight loss journey!
  2. Your story is identical to mine. I'm having surgery Monday. Best wishes!
  3. Omg, this looks gourmet! Yum! And am on my pre-op liquid diet.

  7. I'm having the sleeve. I've seen a lot of people lose all their excess weight. If I don't, I'm ok with that.

  10. Hi! Was wondering what to expect on the morning of surgery. I'm Feb 25th. Do they weigh you befire and after? Also, do they put a catheter in? Thanks!
  11. Oh no! Sorry your having trouble. Do you live in the US? 10 oz is not enough for a whole day. Can you call the Dr office? I hope it get easier for you. I will be thinking about you.
  12. I'm sorry I'm late to this thread. I have read all through it and everyone here is very caring and supportive. My surgery is on February 25th. Starting a liquid diet tomorrow. Take care February sleevers!

  14. I have the same surgery date! I was told no pre-op diet, but I gained 7 pounds and my Dr says I have to do a 7 day shake diet. I start on Monday. I hope it helps achieve whatever needs to happen. Best of luck on your surgery!
  15. Jenifaoh I found out today I need to do a 1 week liquid diet. Omg I'm afraid I will cheat. I can't imagine 2 weeks. Good luck and hopefully it goes quick!
  16. I got the mixed berry one, but haven't tried it yet.
  17. Is the pain on an incision site? I've read a lot of people have a lot of pain in one incision and it's usually the spot they have to tug quite hard on to get it out. I also watched a video of the procedure lol I've had 5 abdominal and 3 were surgeries that they have gone throughout my belly button and I always have trouble healing there. I'm going to ask if they can skip it this time. Soon it will all be a distant memory and things will be looking up. Till then, rest as much as you can!
  18. My surgery isn't till the 25th, but I've done a lot of reading and it sounds like the pain could be where they took the extra part of the stomach out. I'm sorry you don't feel well and hope it passes quickly. Maybe they one of your pain pills? Best wishes!
  19. Water is definitely #1 But, try protein water of you like fruity water. Best of luck!
  20. There is a lot of clear liquid proteins hitting the market. Costco has a 12 pack of melon and its $8 off a case right now and averages $1.41 a bottle. I just got them today and haven't tried them yet, but isopure has great reviews.
  21. I'm 15 days out from surgery. I understand you feeling scared, because honestly I am too. Im not so much worried about the surgery, but about the food aspect as well. But, like you I have many ailments and a cheeseburger or doughnut is no longer worth being fat. Oh, and I'm 53! So, it's ok to still start your journey at your age. I've seen people in their 60's or 70's. Good luck!
  22. I only fly with family. I can't wait to fly solo to see my son. Congrats!
  23. Congratulations, you look beautiful!
  24. Thank you for your post! I have surgery soon & you have reminded me I need to get a counselor. You look beautiful!
