  2. you can get an electrolite imbalance from too much water....you may need some blood work to find out what happening...good luck....

  7. how many net carbs, you deduct the Fiber and sugar alchohols from the carbs
  8. my nut told me the seeds in watermelon, strawberries and cucumbers are safe because they have a coating on them..but, I dont know when you should eat them...ask your nut...
  9. I feel like i am eating alot too...1000 calories not problem...but i am having issues with meat and I dont eat fish, so alot of my protein is cheese, yogurt., protein shakes and bars...??? is that ok...i get about 60 gr.average a day..

  11. wonder why so many doctors are different?? My doc wont let me have salad and other people on here are eating it...now the conflict with decaf vs caffeine?? WTH....wish there was a universal weight loss surgery rule book...lol

I am not saying you should eat, you should listen to your doctor. however, I was able to eat right up to noon the day before my surgery and then clear liq.the rest of the day...I know others who were able to eat right up to the day before also...so dont worry, it is not going to hurt you, you will be fine...
  14. I was told I could drink caffienated or decaf and I have been drinking arizona diet iced tea (with caffeine) everyday since i got home from the hospital...whats up with the caffiene anyway...someone said it acts as a diuretic, but not for me...
  15. I eat the atkins protein bars..no problem, and I can eat a whole one...sigh*

  17. My doctor told me it depends on your BMI, the higher the BMI, the faster you lose...

I am a retired RN, but I know what your talking about....even being retired, I take a thermal tote with ice packs in the car with me because im only 6 wks out and eat small frequent meals...pack some yogurt, boiled eggs, string cheese..protein bars..jerky, pepperoni, etc....depending on your stage...I drink alot of arizona iced tea so i take the gallon in the car with me and carry a reusable double walled cup...hope this helped, good luck and congratulation on your surgery and your clinicals...
  22. call your doctor,, I was told you should get better everyday, not stay the same or go backwards...be safe and call ....
  23. my surgery was Aug. 1st, and I am down 20 lbs....Looks like I am the slowest loser on here....
