Hi everyone, I'm Tiffeny. I got my band 2 years ago and couldn't be happier. I started my journey at 356 and am now down to 238. I have hit a plateau, but I think it is only because I have gotten comfortable. I could go back in an get a fill, but I don't think I want to be any tighter. I just need to get my butt in gear and exercise, which has never been a favorite of mine. I live in Westminster. I used to have a support group that met at my house every month. We did it for almost a year, but it came to an end when personal schedules got in the way and everyone has to start cancelling. I don't have time for support groups on a monthly basis anymore, but am always up for talking to other banders for moral support. Tiffeny -

Hi Betty, Are you doing the liquid diet right now, or are you talking about the two weeks after surgery? I never did liquids before surgery, but after I lived off the slim fast drinks. I have friends that loved the tortilla soup from El Pollo Loco, but they only drank the broth. That was a great treat for them. Where are you having your surgery at? -
Just checking up on everyone, I don't feel so bad when I see the last time everyone else has been, work fulltime and school fulltime, not a lot of time left for much! So update us on your progress! Have not lost any weight since first part of Sept., tried everything, stumped!

I finally got my surgery date!!!! 11/10/09. WOOT!
Am so excited and nervous at the same time.
I start the 2 week pre op diet on the 27th. I cant believe I'll be banded right before the holidays! :-P
how's ur hubby's progress? did he get banded yet?

My goodness that is amazing to hit your goal in only 6 months. WOW My doctor and I just realized a realistic final weight for me of 155-165. I'm happy sticking to my little goals. My next is to hit 250. Congrats again. That is wonderful.

I got banded last week and lost 20 lbs, but a difficult 20 lbs due to the liquid diet, it had me going crazy with my empty stomach aches I was experiencing at night. I have been craving sub way sandwhich, I hope someday I can have one lol

I get banded tomorrow in Hawaiian Gardens, so I was looking at your pictures and WOW. Seeing pictures like your the before and after gives me motivation, to see how you look now than when you started is amazing. I hope you get to your goal weight.
