Okay first of all love you SUSAN but what????? you have no gray yet?? Okay I will calm down now and repeat no gray? I have to admit that before I went through chemo and lost all of my hair I had a small amount of gray, after chemo I came back curly.....and gray!!!! Okay I'm sure i have quite a few years on you too. I guess I will continue to color, I found the best stylist!!!! She actually worked for Microsoft for over 10 years and decided to retire and do hair, okay she is still young and the BEST! NEXT PART TRULY A RANT AND RAVE" BE PREPARED!!! Okay I just want to say that I have been watching Extreme Home Makeover and I have to admit I have not watched it in a LONG time. The reason being..when I went through cancer treatment not once but twice, we could not get any help from anyone!!! We were in danger of losing our home because of all the surgeries and the treatment costs. Do you think we could get help???? NO, I have worked my entire LIFE!!! and we still did not qualify for any help. Before I got sick we made good money, but during all of my surgeries and treatment I was unable to work full time, we had tons of medical and less pay!! Needless to say we got WAY behind! Does anyone know what it costs to go through chemo??? And 9 surgeries in less than 2 years?? Even with good insurance you will end up owing more than you can afford to pay. Okay I need to take a deep breath and stop posting, just my little RANT & RAVE for the day!!! I hate that "some" people are able to get help and others just fall by the way side. PS I hate that show!!!!!

Great post Greg, and well said! The band really does work, I have not been following the rules either but have not gained, mainly because I can't eat as much! I have not been making good food choices either but my lack of volume has kept me from gaining. So I agree whole hearted with you, the band does work!!! You just have to be able to help by working with it!

Greg So nice to see you are still out there, did you get a little tired of the band too?? I just felt like I needed a break and just maintained for awhile, I really need to get back to work tho. You did not say how much you are down, I know the last time I think you were at 70lbs lost. I hope all is well with you and I hope the rest of them pop in to say Hi too!!. Take care, Bernadette

Hey fellow March 16thers...........Where has everyone gone?? I miss our daily chats we used to have, I know I need to get on here more often too. I'm still stuck at 40lbs, I have been bad and not really working at it, but I still like the way I look and feel, just need a jump start to push onto the next level!! I think part of my problem is that I feel so good that I just got comfortable here, but my goal is 30 more lbs and I MUST reach it before my 50th Birthday which is in January! So I'm off to take the dogs to the park and get some excersize and work on that last 30! Happy Sunday to everyone, now come on and post!! Bernadette:thumbup:

I don't understand this Roman Polanski thing either, first of all the only thing I thought they could prosecute after this much time was murder. Second I think the guy should have had his nads chopped off years ago!!! On a happier note, I went in and had my hair stylist do foils on my hair and it turned out great!! I had my first trim on my new doo too!! I just got a new phone and have been spending tons of time trying to learn all of the goodies on it, I got a Samsung Instinct touch phone, LOVE it!!! We are having a bit of a heat wave for the Seattle area, it is supposed to be in the 70's all week, right now it is bright and sunny out and it feels GREAT! Just checking in for the day, dinner was wonderful!! The lasagna went over quite nice along with the 2 dump cakes I made. I sent a ton of left overs home with everyone. As far as the hair goes I ran out of time yesterday to do it and today I'm just plain pooped! I guess I will have to wait and do it tomarrow. I don't know why but I have no energy at all today, oh well I'm on vacation so I guess its okay. Have a great rest of the weekend!! Bernadette:cool:

Hi again Did I mention I'm making dinner for at least 35 people tonight...I decided lasagne sounded good, forgot how much work it is to make, I have the sauce on which takes hours and then I will throw the rest together. This is the first time I have had all of my husbands family over, we lived in a condo for the last 5 1/2 years and it was too small for that many people. We moved into our new house in April and not all of them have seen it. It should be a fun night if I don't stress out too much and PB all over everyone LOL. I tend to get stuck and PB if I'm nervous. Did I also mention that I colored my hair yesterday? Well I have always been a red head so I tried a new brand and voila!!! I have purplish colored hair, never and I do mean NEVER change brands! I'm going to re-color it again today before the troops get here! Have a great day!! Bernadette

Hi all!! First of all Krtork, so sorry to hear about your dog, we have 2 and they are part of the family. Sending you hugs to help you get thru the talk with your daughter. To all of you Greys fans....WOW that was a great start to the season, can't wait for Desperate Housewives this weekend!! I even shed a couple tears about George. I'm glad to see this thread started again, I do PJTP and often! I have been struggling to get past the 40lb mark, I seem to be stuck there. I know what to do but get lazy and don't do it. I need to give myself a big kick in the butt!! I still have 25-30lbs to go so I need to get with it! My surgery was in March and it was my 50th birthday present to myself, well my 50th is in January so I want to be at goal by then. Anyway enough PJTP!!! Great to see so many checking in! Bernadette

I have to say I could not have written that any better myself!! I don't always agree with everyone or even all of the mods but I think we have all come her for one reason SUPPORT!!!!!!!! I was fat going into this and I knew I would need some help and guidance to get as far as I have and where did I find it???? HERE. I know the mods are doing the best they can, give them a break! I will continue to come here and get the support I need to lose that last 25-30 lbs I have. Thanks to all who have helped me along the way, And yes that includes you Susan!! Bernadette

Okay I just have to jump in with my 2cents for and trust me that will be about all it is worth. I guess you could call me a fairly new person on LBT because I have been on here for less that a year. With that said I have been banned twice!!! My battle has and still is with _ _ _ _ as most of you already know. When I joined this site it was because I was looking for answers to my questions and to get support. At first I met ALOT of wonderful people and then She came along and started attacking everything I said about my choice of surgeon and the fact that I chose to go to Tijuana to have surgery. I was called so many names I can't even keep track by this person and several others yet I was the one who was banned??? WHY? I had sent numerous letters to the mods and to Alex himself with the proof and nothing happened. This person still states she has never been warned or banned at anytime?? Now how can that be? I received so many letters from other posters stating that they were afraid to post for fear she would attack them again, she is the biggest bully I have ever met. I have never had a run in with HH, but do recall a few threads that were a little severe for my liking, but he was not the only one doing this. So I can't speak about his being banned. All I can say is that there needs to be accountability for ALL posters!!!!!! Some people barely say anything and get banned and others say what ever they want and continue to post WTH just not fair at all. I have no issues with Susan she has always been kind and fair to me, I have written to Alex in the past asking for some sort of change here. Maybe with all of this happening it will finally happen?? I wish that I knew what my shape is??? I have very small shoulders big boobs even after a reduction, the smallest waist imaginable a round tush and then the dreaded thighs!!!!! No matter how small I get I still have thighs, it is so maddening. I look into body sculpting and it runs about 2K per leg!!! I also looked into another thing that runs about 2K total, it is a type of ultrasound?? I guess we should learn to live with what God gave us, but sometimes it is hard. Bernadette:biggrin:

Hey Jdelaere Good to see you checkin in, and be careful it sounds like you are a little too full. Vegas is way to fun to spend it being uncomfortable. My problems with fills don't usually happen until weeks later, I don't know why? I can still eat and drink right after but then bam too much restriction. WASA, is a very MEAN person who posts on here that I don't get along with, if you have not had the misfortune of meeting her consider yourseld lucky!! Bernadette

Hey all!!! Where has everyone been?? I know where I have been I got banned again for taking on WASA...LOL. But I'm BACK. I hope everyone is doing well, I have decided that I need an un fill, I have had the absolute worst time trying to get food down and keep it there. So I have resorted to eating chips, popcorn etc. I have not gained any weight but have not lost in over a month either. I wish I did not have to pay for every fill/unfill it gets kindof spendy. i have to agree with all of you there are just soooo many people you just ramble on and on and on and never stop to use punctuation or to even end the sentence when it is suppose to end OR THERE ARE THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO USE CAPS AS IF THAT MAKES PEOPLE WANT TO READ THEIR RANTING AND RAVING WELL i just thought i would put my 2 cents in for all of the english teachers to correct my writing skills well what can i say im from seattle via little rock.........oh well you get the picture LOL

Well I have to agree cancer SUCKS!!!!! I have battled it twice went thru 9 surgeries chemotherapy and radiation!!!!! I have lost my mother to this awful disease, I was only 28 at the time. Yes cancer SUCKS!!!! There is not a day that goes by that I don't feel a little bump or find an unusually large bruise and wonder if my cancer is back again. My logical brain says worrying about it will not help but the rest of me worries that I will never see grandchildren, retire after working 36 years of my 49, ETC etc! Yes cancer SUCKS!!!!!

Hey fellow March 16thers!!! I just had to post a WOW moment, I was trying on clothes and deciding which ones were too big and which were too small and just for the heck of it I tried on my "levi's" note these have been in my closet for several years. I did not in a million years think they would fit and Tadaa!!!!!!! They fit zipped them up all the way and everything, I'm on cloud nine right now!! I also dug out a pair of other jeans that I like and they fit too, both are a size ......drum roll please!!! 14. I have not been a 14 in at least 5 years. I hope everyone else will chime in and give somemore WOW moments of your own. Hope everyone is doing good, please post more often!! Bernadette

Okay Sillygoose If you think you think you need a fill...you DO...come on you will not lose weight without restriction or whole lot of dedication.I'am at full capacity at 4cc's and I still think I might need another fill. please consider another fill... it does not sound like you are at a good spot, until you are it will not work. I had terrible constipation after being banded, it lasted over a week. I did feel much better when I was able to go. I guess it goes to show that when you are on liquids ther is nothing to come out. I have no trouble with burping, I have had the hiccups lots too. Good luck to you!! Bernadette
