  1. hello again all i had my first fill last monday and all is going well ive started swimming 3 times a week and walking alot im realy happy i decided to go ahead with the band! food wise i dont have loads of restriction but do find if i eat too fast i get bad chest pains where it's got stuck, im enjoying my life again and hope you all are too, xxxx
  2. hi all, i was banded on feb 10th, im on normal food now, i have to be really carefull what i eat as i dont have any restriction at all, so i bought a smaller plate and smaller cutlery set just for my meals :eek: my surgery went ok considering i was petrified i went in at 10:50am and was back home in my own bed by 7:30pm the same day, i had quite alot of wind pain and am still finding it a bit uncomfortable on my shoulders, just waiting for my wounds to heal properly so i can start swimming each day, anyway hope your all recovering well xxxx

  5. hi all i got banded yesterday morning, it realy wasn't that bad! i was well nervous and scared but i neednt of been :smile: although the wind pain is quite painfull i found it helps to move around, the pain isnt half as bad as i thought it would be which is a bonus lol good luck for those that haven't been banded yet xxx

  7. ok so here it is my date has come, im being banded tommorow and allthough i feel ok now i am still very nervous of being put to sleep, thats probably the only thing ive thought about all day, i have 2 beautiful sons and a fantastic hubby i dont want to leave , im sure im just being silly, im sure i'll probably be calling myself a silly cow for worrying so much come tommorow night, :thumbup:

  9. congrats on getting your band! im scheduled for tuesday @ ashford hospital in middlesex my surgeon is mr horner i am still a little nervous but have met someone on facebook that was banded by the same surgeon 2 weeks ago and she has been helping me with my nerves a great deal as well as reading everyones experience on here, im no longer looking backwards im gonna look forwards with a big smile and know im gonna be around a while longer :bananalama:
