  1. Thanks for the response I hope some of it went away! Because it's weird that I'm so full at 9cc's but wanting another fill...
  2. Hi, I have not had a full in 18 months. I'm 3 years post op and lost 80 pounds but have gained back 18. I'm nervous about feeling tight again. I have like 9cc's out of my 10. I wonder if I'll be done after this???
  3. Hi Tracey, I was banded Feb of 2008. It is an amazing experience. I highly recommend Dr. Billy. He doesn't band you and then leave you. They have so much support there. I am not the best at using the support anymore but I know its there now. His phone number is 676-9100. He also has an office in TO so you dont have to drive out to Ventura, although I like the office out there cuz the scale measures your whole body and its fun to see different parts shrink. Like now my legs are in the "normal zone" . Best of luck to you. I'd like to know what you do.
  4. Hello! So I have now lost more then half of the weight I need to lose until I am at goal. 53 down and 52 to go. I am at 193 right now and would really like to be at 185 by Valentines Day but the weight is kind of at a stand still right now. These last 20 pounds have melted off after a summer of no weight loss. It was a terrible plateau... hopefully the weight loss will kick back in soon! I have an appointment on Tuesday and I am toying with the idea of getting another fill... I hope everyone had a great Christmas and/or any holiday that you may celebrate!
  5. HI, I havent been very active on here lately. Thought I'd check in and noticed you moved the February post here... will it stay here? Hope everyone is doing well. I am doing well right now...
  6. Yeah it went away. I worked out harder then usual that day - maybe that was why... thank you for responding.
  7. Hey everyone is different. I was banded in February 09 and I went in for an adjustment every four weeks and was really frustrated by the time September rolled around and then voila! I am good. Went in last month and didnt need an adjustment and the weight is coming off again. Keep your chin up and be patient. You will find it. I was actually way to tight at one point and got an unfill. Two adjustments after that is when I realized why I got the band...
  8. I have been banded since feb 09 and i am feeling sore in my port area tonight. does this happen to anyone else? should i be concerned? it feels like it is swollen or something. i feel like its noticeable when i rub my belly...
  9. that is SO awesome! Congrats!!!!
  10. I only eat mushies that day and then back to regular foods... you are too tight... just have them take a little bit. I kept myself tight like that for 3 weeks and the scale went down quick but I was really sick... took me three more fills to get it right. Now its right.
  11. Thanks everyone! It feels really good... funny how just the number on the scale can make us feel so good!
  12. Oh I have been waiting so long to be able to post that! I took a picture of my scale this morning! SO happy right now!
  13. Hi I was banded last February. I have been having dizzy spells in the past couple of months. I get numbness in my lips and tingling all over. It even happens when I am driving and it is scary. I am going to get seen by a doctor about it but I was curious if anyone else has felt this way. Could it be related to my nutrition or lack there of?
  14. I got banded and was stuck at -17 pounds for two months. Now it is starting to come off. Everytime i get a fill it seems to start coming off... keep up with your fills.
  15. Yay that's awesome! I am almost there! That is my next big goal. I can't wait!!!
