Dizzy Spells?

Hi I was banded last February. I have been having dizzy spells in the past couple of months. I get numbness in my lips and tingling all over. It even happens when I am driving and it is scary. I am going to get seen by a doctor about it but I was curious if anyone else has felt this way. Could it be related to my nutrition or lack there of?

I did a long time ago. It was related to blood pressure medication. You might need to reduce yours. In the mean time, if you take blood pressure medication, try some salt to fix it....

I had the same thing happen to me and My doctor ran tests and reported back that my potassium level was very low an he told me a low level of potassium will make you dizzy. He also told me people usually get dizzy spells when they are on a very low calorie diet due to W/L surgery. So try a banana in the morning.

Talk to your doctor about it to see if it's not a serious medical condition. But otherwise, this is a pretty normal ordeal.

It's funny you posted this thread. I just this morning am feeling dizzy and I don't know if its because I'm coming down with something or what. Haven't experienced it before so I'm wondering if it's something with my diet or because of the surgery.
