  1. Lana, don't be so hard on yourself. We all do silly things now and then. LIke drink a beer or something like that. Just get back on. Your fill should help. How much do he/she put in? Do you feel restriction? If you overeat with a fill you will PB or vomit. So that may help you next time you reach for that pizza. You're doing fine.
  2. I think you are right on mark. My pain didn't go away for at least 2 weeks. I remember not being able to sleep on my side. Your diet sounds like you are doing fine. Just try and get in as many liquids as possible. Sounds like you are sipping so that is a good thing. Best of luck to you.
  3. My first thought naturally was to get into a lower size. I am currently in a 20. My goal right now is to lose 6 more lbs which would bring me to 1/2 way to goal 41 total. I will then look to see what it will take to get to a size 18. I think it will take me a long time to do that as I am a slow loser. Once I lose 41 more lbs I am going to research plastic surgery. I can't wait to have a tummy tuck and lipo done. That should bring me into a size 16 and possibly a 14 again. That would be so cool!
  4. Take your foods with you. Stock up on plenty of protein drinks, yogurt, popsicles, and juices. You should be fine. I would lift more than 10 lbs at first. Be sure to ask your doctor. Good luck. Its exciting.
  5. Hi Audree, I would stock my house with the followowing: 1. plenty of juices 2. Protein shakes or mixture with skim milk 3. creamy Soups 4. yogurt (you can have it in the liquid stage if it can go through a straw) 5. yogurt ice cream. that feels good. 6. mashed potatoes I think that is a good start. and oh...GasX strips
  6. Dani, that is fantastic news. Good for you. I die on the elepitical machine. I can't even do 5 minutes. Good job.
  7. 5jacks, if I got a call from my surgeon that the date was up'd I would jump on it. It would be so exciting. I would go for it!
  8. I lived on creamy soups, yogurt, protein shakes, mashed potatoes. Anything soft.
  9. You're doing great. Keep up the good work.
  10. Hi Kerry, I was banded in June. I'm down 34 lbs right now and about 70 total. Congrats on taking the first step. Its is a great idea. I love my band. I wouldn't trade it in for anything!
  11. Maro, I am a June lapbander. I couldn't find the March for you either.
  12. Hi congrats on your weight loss to date. Keep up the good work.
  13. Congrats on your surgery. You are probably in more pain that usual because of the hernia. I would take it easy and the pain should be better within a week. Good luck.
  14. I too tried to find March band crew and couldn't. I would start a new one. Good luck.
  15. jme62, I was exactly like you before the surgery. Thinking all about how I got to this place, what if I don't succeed, already missing food, etc. That is normal. Best of luck to you with your surgery.
  16. Liberty, that is fantastic news. Way to go girl!
  17. Not sleeping on my side was the worse. Other than that I could do almost anything 1-2 weeks afterwards. Good luck.
  18. Hi Syrah, I was back to work in 5 days. You should have no trouble with that. Best of luck to you!
  19. Congrats on your life changing decision. Best of luck.
  20. Sue, sorry to hear you went through all of that. I hope you recover well. I have a great qualified surgeon. He has done hundreds of lapbands and I just love him. Good luck.
  21. Jason, congratualtions on making your decision. It will be life changing. We have a lot in common with the athletics. It was the peak performance time of my life. Having an active exercise routine will be very important. The band is a great tool. I truly hope you can lose your weight and keep it off this time. It will be life changing. Congrats on your nursing degree and job. Best of luck to you with your girlfriend. It is wonderful that she is supportive. Keep us updated.
  22. Betsy, it sound like you definitely need another fill. You should have good restriction most of the day. You will be able to eat breakfast after another fil but it may consist of a simple protein shake. Typical for you that the band opens up later in the day. Best of luck.
  23. I put on 3 lbs. Now I am trying to get it back off!
  24. Congrats, that is my New Years resolution.
