  4. that sounds really awesome
  5. Yeah, I go with let her squirm, its like not lowering yourself to do the same thing that she did but the effect will sure do the same.
  6. Great, that is good news. I know what you mean about feeling groggry, I feel that way from the nyquil. I have to take that when I am already in bed or risk sleeping on the bathroom floor
  7. Just remember to rinse it according to package instructions or it will taste horrible
  8. Oregon Daisy is going to love chatting with you just as we all will. Welcome
  9. The tofu chocolate pudding is very good, its rich tasting and packed with protein. You can not tell it was made with tofu.
  10. I think its wonderful, I lost like that at first but now its just a lb a day, sometimes 2. How was eating out working for you?
  11. I didnt dream about food last night so this must be getting better and I am really glad, I hate to panic and have anxiety attacks in my sleep too. Its bad enough to have them when I am awake.
  12. Your feelings are very valid and your are right, they belittle you to make themselves feel better, they find you an easy target and I would definitely tell your mother how you feel about what she did. I have to admit my mother would have done the same thing. Not everyone in your life will be supportive and things will seem better when you have recovered. Your emotions are on edge right now and that makes it all seem worse. This will pass. You will probably always have them giving you grief over something, if not this, it will be something else. You can vent your anger to them or kill them with kindness, which ever makes you feel better. Not having your husband home makes it worse also, Give yourself a break. I hope he returns home soon and that time passes quickly.
  13. Because mine is and I dont do close to 60 a day
  14. I love the way you think, Happy Birthday
  15. I had some scar tissue also from a previous partial gastrectomy and my staple line was ashered to my liver so I guess my choice to get the sleeve saved some other complications down the road. I am sorry you had complications and keep in touch with us..We are here to hold your hand in a cyberspace sort of way.
  16. All my tapes are off and all spots are already healed except the drainage spot, it is smaller and is scabbed over. I put a bandaid over that one. My skin is still red and blotchy but that is going away. I removed the tape around day 4. I hated that it seemed to stay wet after my shower. After I removed the first tape and found that wound was scabbed over, I figured the rest were also and they were.
  17. Wasa, you are right, I couldnt even tell my bio sister, she just couldnt take having me go through another surgery and I couldnt even start talking about Mexico, so no she didnt get it but my sleeve sisters definitely do. We are on here every day and on the phone.
  18. Its quite normal to feel that way. I had the very same thoughts because nobody in my family knew I was there. I felt that if something terrible happened it wouldnt be any worse than waiting to afford the procedure here and risking a much more devistating problem like heart attack or stroke which would cause them more anquish. I felt confident that I was doing the right thing considering the surgeons track record. I feel confident that the anxiety you are feeling now will turn to excitement as mine did.
  19. Yeah, another sleever brother! Congrats on starting your new life
  20. Welcome to the sleeeve sisters, you wont regret it. You will have the best of care.

  22. Yes and I checked out the photo section of OH which takes forever. The problem with OH photos is that you dont know what WLS they had unless they post it with the pic. That wont as much of a problem here. Yes I am amazed and it gives me genuine hope.
