  2. Also, don't be too disappointed. The scale is going down and not up right?? I know it can be frustrating, but you can do it!
  3. You paid for the surgery (or your insurance did) don't down yourself. they are there to help you not put you down. Pick your head up high and keep trucking along!!
  4. ooh- i would love a recipe too!!!
  5. Hey there! Also, the doctor is meant to help you, not to be scared of. This is your jouney and he is there to help you. It cost to much money to feel intimidated by him. Use him to help you. good luck with your journey!!
  6. Don't be nervous, sweetie! It will be great. I was nervous, too. This will be a life changing thing so much for the better for you! I was banded Jan. 9th. I have lost 104# so far! It has been so good so far. I have had slips here and there, but all in all it is incredible. Take time to heal and get better and you will be on your way to a new you!!! Good luck and may God bless your surgery.- Tonya
  7. The Dr. in Denver is super! I live here in Colorado and his name is Dr. Kirshenbaum. That is correct on the cost of surgery and he is so awesome!! Congratulations!!! I am 10 pounds from wonderland- can't wait!! It is such an accomplishment of course you want to tell the whole world!!! Good to have lapband talk because we all do care and want to hear about your losses!!! God Bless!
  12. This is a journey- even though the band is our tool we really still need to work at it. It is not just an easy fix. ( once per month at that time I am really reminded of that!!!) Just try to focus on why you did it and make some small goals. After you reach one or two it will get much easier!! I can't get my ticker changed cause i forgot my password, but have lost 74 pounds now. Hang in there. Write down some encouraging things to help you. I put goals on the fridge to remind me. Good luck with your journey- we are all in the same boat. (maybe not everyone has a hard time, but I am in the same boat.)
  13. Just like the other respones- hang in there! You are in for a great ride. I am a person always up and on the go. To be down bummed me out. You will be down for a bit more- relax- take it easy. You will be up again soon and it will seem like nothing. Hang in there!!!! Good lick with your journey!!!
