Started back on the wagon....1st day of liquid diet
First day of liquid diet. Fell off the wagon a long time ago becuz I couldn't get to ONEderland. It deterred me from trying anymore to lose weight. I have gained 30 lbs back in the past few yrs and I have been lazy and not exercising. I have started back with the exercising with swimming and weight room. I love to swim and love pumping iron and it makes me feel better and happy but with not following the rules aint losing any weight. Forgot how hard it is to do a liquid diet. I already have the chills and now drinking hot tea to try and warm my body up. Maybe I need to eat some more cream of broccoli soup. lol So I am asking any of the other Bandsters if they have had the same issue as me and would like to be a band buddy to keep each other honest would really be appreciated. Wish me luck love and light Dolphin

Hello everyone....been trying to get back on the lapband wagon and I need the list of the do's and don'ts of it. I know there is rules to live by and I have forgotten most of them. I have been swimming and working out in the gym....but I am not making any progress in the losing weight category...so I need the list to refresh my brain of the rules. I have been banded since 2008. Please help me! Been searching online and I haven't found the list yet of the rules. love and light, dolphin

Okay May 2008 Bandsters.....anyone need help & support to get the motivation back?
I am having a very difficult time, I have yet to get below that 200 mark....I have issues of when I am stressed I throw everything up, when I travel to the rockies I cant eat for days becuz I am all swelled up. I haven't had a fill in over a year, cookies and other crap go down just fine, but I can't keep down ribs, pork chops, pork roast, hamburger, etc.. I am trying to find a support bandster buddy that we can keep each other on track daily. Like challenge each other daily to drink 8 glasses of water, how many laps in the pool did we do that day, how many miles on elliptical, how much free weights did you do that day etc. Anyone interested??????????????? Pretty please..I am so tired of being fat, but its hard to find support around here.

How Many Have Fell Off The Lap Band Wagon??????
I will admit that I have fell off the wagon....I can't believe I have had my band since 2008 and I haven't lost all my weight. Life has gotten in the way and so has depression....I will admit I stopped doing the lap band rules of eating etc....I need lots of support to get back on the band wagon...I had two miscarriages in one year last yr...so I just stopped following everything. But I seem to be doing okay emotionally...less stress in my life, and I want to lose this weight...I didnt go through all this to not succeed in losing all this fat off my body. I want to start jogging and working out at the gym...I did a liquid diet then I went on vacation and didn't do the lapband rules again....I just have no support in my household....My husband is overseas and I figure this is the best time to get back on the wagon to keep me busy. So any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for reading my post Thin Dolphin

I'm a failure...PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Well thank you all for your advice. I am so close to Onederland I can taste it. I have been floating between 206 and 210 for months. I've been sick and busy with going to school and not having the energy to go exercise...I just want to get the motivation I had back before the surgery. I think today is gonna the start of it. I threw up last nite right before I went to bed and now this morning I am so swollen I have to SIP coffee and water or else it really hurts. I called my doc and she said that my band didnt slip it's just really swollen and suggested me coming in for a little unfill if it doesnt stop hurting. She also said that it wouldnt hurt me if I only did liquids for a few days. So hopefully this is gonna be the turning point to get my motivation back and start the weight loss again. So any advice u could offer would be greatly appreciated. blessings to all dolphin
