I need a kick in the butt...slap in the face...something!!!!

This is a journey- even though the band is our tool we really still need to work at it. It is not just an easy fix. ( once per month at that time I am really reminded of that!!!) Just try to focus on why you did it and make some small goals. After you reach one or two it will get much easier!! I can't get my ticker changed cause i forgot my password, but have lost 74 pounds now. Hang in there. Write down some encouraging things to help you. I put goals on the fridge to remind me. Good luck with your journey- we are all in the same boat. (maybe not everyone has a hard time, but I am in the same boat.)
  18. Just like the other respones- hang in there! You are in for a great ride. I am a person always up and on the go. To be down bummed me out. You will be down for a bit more- relax- take it easy. You will be up again soon and it will seem like nothing. Hang in there!!!! Good lick with your journey!!!

    Introduction

Don't be nervous and be ready for the best thing in your life! I really read alot before surgery and was nervous. I am self pay and worried if I could do it. I am now down 73 pounds since surgery on Jan. 9th. I feel so good. Congratulations on your decision!!

    I want to give up

I also felt like I had to reply. I was banded on Jan. 9th. Right around when you were. I have had 4 fills. A 22 pound loss is a loss and not a gain. I Know it must be really frustrating!!! Like everyone has said it is not just getting the band in, but doing the fills is sooo important. You should NOT feel like a failure. Your surgeon is there to help you. Don't dread going back to him. This is your journey- noone said it was gonna be easy. The band is your tool to help you. Once you learn to use it it will help you. I wish you luck. Please feel free to contact me for encouagement. God Bless!!!
