  2. By the way, do you heat it or eat it cold?
  3. I'll have to try your turkey and cranberry thing. It sounds pretty good.
  4. Crap. I can spell "normally," I promise.
  5. I'm not normalyl so plain spoken, but I had a hard time coming up with a word that described just how I feel about her. That's as close as I could get, yet it doesn't quite do it. :biggrin1:
  6. I figured she didn't work for him after I looked at Dr. Kuri's website and couldn't find a single mention of her or a picture of her. There's pictures of all the staff that a patient is likely to come in contact with (the nurses, etc.). If she really was his "patient educator," there would be a mention of her or she would have been pictured. The hag's full of shit.
  7. Maybe they'll finally do something, then. I doubt it, though.
  8. Yep, I (among others) made screencaps of her website and of her posts where she claimed to be an RN/NP/CNS. So, if anyone wants the files to send to the authorities, I can provide!
  9. I'm pretty sure it would violate OH rules and the thread would be deleted if you posted it on OH. Of course, if you are ready to leave (I don't know if you are or not), you might as well go out fighting, right? Now, I think you may be able to post it on LBT for everyone to see, since it wasn't an LBT PM.
  10. To add to my above post: OH is a very clique-driven place. If you aren't favored by the overwhelming group that is posting (which would be Sandy's supporters), you are either ignored or attacked, depending on how vocally anti-Sandy you are. Her supporters apparently feel that they have only one way to interact with other people in a way that is favorable to them, and that is to publicly support Sandy.
  11. IMO, that's exactly what they fear. If ANYONE dares speak up about Sandy, they get bashed by her groupies. I've experienced it, WASa experienced it, Wendell experienced it. You can't make a single post suggesting that Sandy might not be correct without getting trounced by her supporters. They know that if they dared speak up against her, their "friends" would turn on them in a heartbeat. It's safer for them to just remain silent, even though they KNOW that she's giving out bad information.
  12. I like their canned chicken. I've used it when making chicken soup. It's yummy. And all Hormel stuff isn't terrible. Their pre-cooked heat-in-microwave bacon is the same stuff that Subway uses. Very thin, very yummy!
  13. Hey, PM me with your address and I'll send you some samples of the protein drinks that I have.
  14. I even contacted OH's member services about her and they blew me off. THAT is what pisses me off more than anything, that they are knowingly allowing her to get away with presenting herself as a nurse. Even with all of their disclaimers, I think that they could probably be held liable if they allow Sandy to misrepresent herself as a nurse and someone follows her advice to their detriment. If someone gets hurt because of Sandy, OH is screwed, since they've been warned about her and they've done nothing. You may not be able to charge OH with an illegal offense, but that means nothing in a civil court. I wonder if anyone's reported her to the company that markets her CDs, since they are advertising her as a licensed nurse.

SONOFA...! Never EVER open a liquigel of Advil and squirt it into your mouth. That shit BURNS!
  16. That would be wonderful! I don't think a nutritionist would need to oversee it, necessarily, as long as we made sure that all the submissions were either healthy or band-friendly (and maybe labeled the recipes that aren't really "every day" meals). Maybe have a few different sections, like one for tofu/vegetarian meals, one for red meat, one for chicken/turkey, one for fish, etc?
  17. When I hit goal (and have enough money saved), I'm probably going to have a boob job (and a TT, also, if my skin doesn't bounce back). My boobs have NEVER been perky. The damn things are naturally saggy, I think.
  18. Of course, the above is assuming that you don't want to look like a porn star or an '80s Madonna.
  19. DEFINITELY go with the tear-drop shaped ones. The moons are fugly, and the cones look straight out of the '40s/'50s.
  20. I would find someone that is experienced with the type that you want. You're spending hard-earned money for this, you should get what you want. Honestly, I'd try to do both the TT and boob job at the same time, if you might want more work done in the future. Are there any other plastics guys at the hospital you want? Or are you basically stuck with him or no one?

I have the sinus headache from hell, and I'm nervous about taking any Advil liquigels, since I've had a lot of restriction from my last fill. And of course, I don't have any other pain killers in my apartment, since tylenol does crap for me. :sick
  22. Are you wanting the tear-drop shaped ones, or is it something else?
  23. I don't have IBS, but I would imagine that IBS would not do well with RNY, due to the probable dumping and malabsorbtion issues. I believe I've read posts by someone that had IBS, and she or he said that their doctor told them that RNY would not be a good idea.
  24. Well, you've said (at least, I think it was you that said it) in the past that you only wanted to do either one or two surgeries (or at least, go under anesthesia) after banding. If there's more that you want to have done, and you still want to limit the number of times under anesthesia, I'd go ahead and do it. I mean, there's always going to be advances in medicine. If you put off surgeries just because you worry about what may happen in the future, you'd never have surgery. And hell, you'll be in pain anyway, might as well go whole hog.
