I actually squealed in glee when I read that, Susan! :whoo: :nervous

I'll definitely have to look into it again, then. Every other place I've talked to never told me that I could do it after I shave it. That would work so much better, actually, since I shave my neck and chin every morning instead of waxing (again, hate to let the hair grow out).

Most of it is on the underside of my chin and the very front of my neck, where a turtleneck wouldn't reach. I've asked about bleach, and I've always been told that the reason the laser works is that it picks up on dark hairs (it doesn't work as well with light ones). I think I'm just out of luck, unless I can find a 2-3 week period (my hair grows VERY quickly) where I can just stay holed up in my apartment (and then wear bandages on the way to the clinic, so that no one would see the hair - it'd still look stupid, but better than Sasquatch).
  4. Aw, you'd be on my list, too!
  5. anonemouse replied to Wheetsin's topic in Rants & Raves
I REALLY want to get that done, but every clinic I've talked to says the hair has to be about 1/4 inch long. And well, mine is all over my neck. I'd look like Sasquatch if I let it grow that long. I'd never be able to leave the house.
  6. When's your birthday? Mine is August 2, so howdy from a fellow Leo!

I think I'll stick with the waxing, personally. Over $300 for 2 months? Holy shit!
  8. Ditto. I can't believe ANYONE believes that the Iraq war and the attacks on 9/11 are because of our acceptance of homosexuality. That's just.... Well, insane, for lack of a better term.
  9. Oh, geeze! This forum is just cracking me up today! :clap2::faint:
  10. Aw, laughing isn't FAIR! :heh: :bounce:
  11. Oh, man! I would love to see the expression on your face (and on the faces of the people in the cars next to you)! :biggrin1: Very true! I've stopped going to the Nsync message board that I belonged to, but I still love to listen to them. :nervous My brother laughs every time he listens to a CD that I compiled. I'll have Nsync, Backstreet Boys, Alabama, Garth Brooks, AC/DC, Blue Oyster Cult, Prince, Black Eyed Peas, and various other hip-hop artists all mixed up together. Go from pop to rap to country to classic rock and back again....
  12. *Ahem* Guiltily raises hand, after sneaking peeks around her. Well, I think anyone who has ever seen me operate in RnR knows what I am. And yes, I am a VERY strong INTJ, according to the MBTI.
  13. Yep, that's what I do, too. I carry just a few CDs in my car and usually listen to one for days on end before I get tired of it. And look at me, criticizing someone else's music! I used to be a HUGE Nsync fan, to my humiliation. My brother won't let me live it down. I even owned the DVDs of their concerts. :nervous
  14. Ouch. That might be a tad embarassing, I think. Kidding! You know I love you! :biggrin1:
  15. Aw, Chris, I'd like to meet you!
  16. For the record, I consider myself to be a huge patriot. That's why I am so infuriated with the current President. I feel like he's ruining this country, our reputation overseas, everything we stand for. It's all being washed down the drain and it makes me so mad.
  17. Or after they've loosed their weight.
  18. Thank you for explaining. The implication that infuriates me is that if I don't agree with the current President about the Iraq war, I must not be a patriot, and I must have forgotten about all the people that lost their lives on 9/11. It's a low blow, IMO, and it does basically call my patriotism and how "good" of an American I am into question. Can you understand how someone could be hurt and become very angry because of that comment?
  19. Yep, it is absolutely mind-boggling, isn't it? It reminds me of an ostrich sticking its head in the sand. All these people MUST be wrong, even though they were privy to all the intelligence and information that was gathered. They're wrong, wrong, wrong. Even when all the evidence says they're right, right, right. Hell, when the people that actually made the decision can admit that they were wrong, you would think that everyone else could admit it, too.
  20. Yeah, I do come across aggressive in my past posts. Want to know why? I kind of get a tad pissed off when someone basically calls me a bad American. You would, too, I think. It doesn't make me bitter. What it does make me is very, very angry.
  21. I am SO glad I wasn't eating or drinking anything when I read that. It would have come out of my nose, I think. :bounce:
  22. Bring back your photos, Chickie! They really are inspirations to most of us, and the people that don't think so can kiss your ass! :cry
  23. You look AMAZING, losing! And your daughter is so cute!
  24. Honestly, there is a significant and noticable difference between the two when your arms are raised. I don't see a size difference when they are down, though. I would personally be really worried that if you did have the size of the right one increased, it would no longer look right when your arms are down. As it is right now, they look about the same size, so I would be worried that any size increase with the right one would make it look larger than the left one when your arms are down. Know what I mean?
