Spring Bootcamp 2006
God must love me b/c after all I have put my body through today, I'm still alive and well. -3lbs off just today alone on my crazier than ever bike ride. 35 miles in the Florida sun in Kissimmee. Protein shakes, water ..gonna have a nice meal tonight.. now for work. I've slacked off of work all week, doing a little here and there... uggh. Thing is.. I sacrificed my health for a sedentary life at the desk for 4 years and the weight just came full force.. now I don't wanna sit still. Go figure!

Jokes Thread
LOL, I'd love to start a JOKES thread b/c I just love to read jokes. Anyone have any good ones? Please...if you post here, try not to offend a group as a whole or any one person or race. I have alot of jokes, but mine are controversial so I will share a couple. Here's one of my "cleaner" jokes that I told in another thread.. Question: What do you see when the Pillsbury Doh Boy bends over? Answer: Donuts

Exercise Today
Me too! I am finding that I'm having to wash clothes daily just to get my sports bras and sauna outfits in form for the next workout. I need 5 workout outfits, since I already have 2, so that I can have one for everyday of the week.:cry They are expensive though. Anything health related, (running pants, sports bras, sneakers) are all marked up. It's almost like the makers are saying, "Oh so you wanna get in shape do you? Well you'll have to pay big!"

Thanks PhotoNut, this thread has inspired me to start a "JOke" thread. *winks*

The Honeymoon Phase
Thanks Photonut *grins with a smile* Darn.. I'll tell politically correct jokes from now on. Here's one that's unrelated and only food related.. This joke BETTER not offend anyone.. but it's one of my favorite jokes.. What do you see when the Pillsbury doh boy bends over? Answer: Donuts  I'm ignoring 3loves post. I think her tone is one of vendictiveness. "did I win the special olympics since I had to apologize 3 or 4 times....blah blah..." Was this statement an attempt to make a joke? Cut it out! What do you want me to do now... get down on my knees and beg you for forgiveness? Yeah I apologized like 4 times but it's only because everyone didn't see the 1st, 2nd or 3rd I think. But I wanted to reiterate the apology. I started to state that my husband heard me tell him the joke last night that fired up a couple of LBT'ers and he giggled but then he stated that it was a joke not meant for strangers. So you were right. But I already knew that. I'm just crazy like that and I have cahones. But I also realize that people who take offence to that kinda joke are not people I would take in as a friend ..most likely. I love people who go with the flow and are not uptight about things. Jokes are jokes. I practically fall asleep off of Comedy Central. So again, my bad folks. Didn't mean to "hurt" anyone's feelings. Editing all the time??? Wow you are paying close attention to my posts. Can we say "Stalker"???... I'm just joking..... or am I? Naww, I'm kidding.

The Honeymoon Phase
Again... It was a joke and again I apologize. Just delete that post.

The Honeymoon Phase
I apologize for that but I'm one of those (tacky joke kinda people). I'm a bit of a toilet humor buff. Sorry for that again. Just an analogy/joke. Again I stated I didn't mean to offend anyone and if I did, I apologize. Let's move on ok? lol

The Honeymoon Phase
Im sure you do. Good to be proud of something like that. The fact that you didn't get the analogy is even funnier to me. Ahhh well.

The Honeymoon Phase
There's always one.. 3loves you have your opinion on the matters at hand and so do I. Get over it. Move on. I'm not taking anything back and I meant every word of it. I'm not here to receive hugs and win the popularity contest. I'm here to speak my mind. If you don't like it, so what?

I've lost 204 pounds! YEAY!
I'd like to express both empathy and happiness with you. I'm sorry to hear that your Mother passed. No one can ever say anything to make you feel better about that, I know personally. You have lost 204lbs! Not an easy thing to do, nevertheless it's attainable and you did it. Congratulations on your success and continued success. I wish you newness and happiness.

The Honeymoon Phase
I am not feeling the need to be viscious, just felt like expressing myself truthfully as everyone else has. As There are 6 kinds Veteran bandsters in my book.. Knowledgeable Veteran - Been there done that, shares experience to an extent, not siding Jilted Veteran - Been there done that and did it wrong, is upset with the world and upset with other's successes and displays that in their posts Knowledgeable and Considerate Veteran - Been there done that, has empathy, shares experiences at the same time giving good advice and keeping in mind that there are lots of new bandsters in the community and writes posts .. with newbies in mind (not putting up stop signs and not generalizing things) Reclusive Veteran - Been there, done that but is quiet about everything Skeptical Veteran - Been there, done that had quite a few bad experiences and some good but still very skeptical that the band works, generalizes everything and is adamant on making sure all is there to see Fence Veteran - Goes either way, (the band works and doesnt' work) Been there, done that and plays both sides of the fence

I wish we lived close too b/c then I'd be behind you with a cow proddle. Actually MoOrless, I'd have you on a bike (my spare one if needed) and with me daily, working out. Would be fun to have a workout buddy. I'm proud of you. I know you have issues but I'm proud that you push yourself and get up everyday and work it out. 15 minutes here and there adds up. My Grandmother passed from Diabetes and my stister and cousin are stablized but it is a very serious disease and I am very happy you are doing better with it. I pray eventually you'll not need medication anymore.

The Honeymoon Phase
DonnaB..Lol, rofl. It's cool. I'm not bothered that you found my deleted post and reposted it. I felt every single bit of it and wanting to share it, but as critical as this place is, I really didn't feel like leaving it out here for all the veterans to dissect, analyze and of course, the inevitable....attack. LOL. But there it is folks. I'm not anorexic, I'm not calorie deprived and not dehydrated. In fact, I am probably OVERHYDRATED thanks to the Gone for Good club. I drink more Water than the average man. I AM a newbie and I'm losing weight on a continuous basis. Is that wrong? Not even 2 months out and -40lbs down. Hmmm.. I'm doing something right. I promised myself that I would hit my goal by August of 135lbs. I promised myself a min of 18.5lbs of loss per month. My goals aren't outlandish and I do know that it's possible that it won't happen. I also know that it's possible that it can happen too. I can do it. I'm living my goals. I'm doing it. Other than right now I am not sitting on my ass and complaining that it's failing me. I'm up and at em daily, sometimes twice per day sweating, working, homeschooling and planning my families meals. I don't need a veteran bandster to tell me that I can't do it or it won't happen b/c it's just not normal. Fruck normal. I don't care for that. I won't be YOUR statistic.

The Honeymoon Phase
ROFL! I have to laugh. I'm dying. This is the 2nd thread that I have read that really makes me laugh. Ok, here's a very very bad, politically incorrect joke.... Please, do not take offence to this joke, it's just a funny one that reminded me of the recent argumentative threads.. (Joke removed) Just thought I'd share it. Again, wasn't intended on offending anyone. Just wanted to throw rubber into the bonfire.

Gone for Good Club - May 2006
I am in some serious pain from the leg lifts. It really kills me and my kids come running to wherever I am exercising to see why I'm screaming, lol! "You ok Mommy???" I just roll my eyes and say.. "Skit Skat" and shoo them. That's embarrassing! Of course I'm ok. lol! 2 mile run @ 4.5mph, 12 mile bike ride 4 sets of 12 reps 5lb weights bicept curls 4 sets of 12 reps 10lbs tricpet curls 125 regular crunches 125 twisting (leg in the air) crunches 100 leg lifts each side
