I use MUSCLE MILK LIGHT: Cookies n Creme, Chocolate Milk, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Strawberry Milkshake, Vanilla Creme. These I always keep in the house in case I want a change. (DO NOT BUY THERE CHOCOLATE ! IT'S LOUSEY). These are all available on ebay, just shop around. That's for a White Jug full.

They will get under that gown when your out !I understand you are a very personal person, but they have to see the whole stomach to do the procedure. They will probably cover your bottom half, but don't hold me to it. I still think they would.Either way you haven't got anything that they have not seen before. So,,, you will have to get over that part.The surgery is over pretty quick, and they will wake you up in RecoveryJust remember it is a specialist doing this. You will be starting a whole new life. I forgot to mention... That when I have 1 or maybe 2 shakes a day. That 8 or 10 oz shake contributes to my water intake. So it's a good thing.

I was told about 1 week before surgery to start washing my belly with a anti-bacterial soap to kill the cooties before surgery. Then of course they clean you up with Beta dine. But it is good to get a jump on it and avoid infections like staph. , witch can easily be picked up in a Hospital. Just go to your Pharmacist and ask for HIBICLENS. It's Great stuff to have around. I also used it before I had both knees replaced, and I never picked up a infection. Shirley.

I threw mine out ! They drive you crazy ! ! ! I get weighed when I see a Dr. Bariatric, or PCP. They read the chart, and find my last weight, and then record the new, and by that time we are usually both very Happy. I also record my weight on a small purse calendar. Then I can see the progress for myself.

We were told to do Protein shakes so that we don't lose our hair. That was wise words of wisdom 5 yrs. ago. I think it's still good advice, because I did what he said, and never lost my hair at all. It is a supplement for a snack or Meal. I do one a day just to keep my Protein level up. Also We were told to much will cause weight gain... So I stay between 60 - 80G a day. I to hear wise words from the Nurses, and I tell them I know the whole program. So when they look at when I was Banded, they are like you been banded before I even went to school.. I guess you know a few things.. I know ! I look at it as job security.

Not at all ! ! ! They should scrap the other stuff, and prescribe this stuff. It was smooth, you could tell when it was time to stop taking it. I was in the Hospital for Gallbladder removal, and they kept hitting me up with Heparin. Well one shot to much I guess,,, the whole bed was soaked. So the Surgeon said I think she had enough. It was not that way with the Lovenox.

If I start missing my FLINTSTONES COMPLETE VITAMINS WITH "CHOLINE", then yes I feel terrible. Henry Ford Bariatric Center puts all it's Bariatric patients on these vitamins. They come in a orange box, says contains Choline, and they are the COMPLETE ONLY! The other ones won't do it. I take 4 for the day, and I feel good.

I had 2 knees replaced, one at a time. I was prescribed Lovenox. I don't know if your familiar with it, but it did wonders, I had no problems as far as developing a clot under this medication. With my Insurance at that time. If I had it filled in the Hospital $5.00 co pay, If I would have went to my own Pharmacy $1,000.00. You might want to see if there's a difference for you.

If you are Lactose Intolerant? As I am. The Muscle Milk Light Powder form that I wrote you about on ebay is what I drink. I can't stomach Milk at all. Give it a shot.

Muscle Milk Light is not Whey. It is a Protein based substitute for a meal, or as a snack. Go to ebay and type in Muscle Milk, and the light will come up"that's what you want. In the white jugs that they sell, you will find a seller that sells a jug for $5.99. THAT'S CHEAP ! She sells strawberry Milkshake flavor, and sometimes has other flavors. It's a good deal. That is Fantastic ! ! ! CONGRATULATIONS......... I look forward to being able to say that someday, and I will ! ! ! I went from a 5x about a 32 to a 20. So I am down to where you started from. I know that it will take some time, but I will arrive. But in the meantime,,, you knocked me out of my seat... You go BandSister, and keep knocking them pounds out. Congrats again ! Shirley. :party:

This was me when I was on a roll. I wish the Surgeon wouldn't have screwed up with his aftercare. But like I said, I'm starting from scratch, and I am gonna get somewhere. I may never be bikini material, but I'm fine with that. As long as I can take off the excess weight. Shirley.

I'm 5 years out, and I regained all most all of it back. I finally got a new Dr. only to find out nothing was wrong. So I'm starting all over again. Start Fresh, and forget what was. If I can do this, you can to. I am a 10/31/2006 Bandster. If you go to that site, and look up the last page, you will find me. But I am starting all over again, and I know with what I know. The bands are done by cc's. I have a small one which is 4cc. They don't come any smaller then that. Ask your Dr. How many cc Band do you have? He can tell you..

I'm glad your band is fine, but sorry to hear about this ! At least you will get better on Antibiotics. Hope you feel better soon. Shirley :welldoneclap:

When I first was banded 10/31/2006. I went back to see my surgeon for my first appointment, and I asked him. What was this big lump? He told me that was my Port, and the swelling will go down. It did.. You might want to ask your surgeon, what is it, and let him look at it, and tell you.

I don't know about the UNJURY,,, but with the MUSCLE MILK LIGHT you use 40z. Water instead of 8. Put it in a desert dish covered, and freeze. You then have pudding, and the same amount of Protein.

Does your Dr. have you on Vitamins? I take FLINTSTONE COMPLETE with CHOLINE. I laughed when my surgeon said that. He explained that they were excellent vitamins, and we need the choline. So I do around 4 a day, and I feel great. Sometimes when I get Hungry, I will chew my 4 vitamins, and that takes away the hunger.

I had what I would call the same problem (you never know though) Anyway the more I got filled the less sloppy the band was for me. It just tightened wright up. In time with more fills it kinda went away about 90%. But I forever feel the band in there. I don't think that will ever go away, because it is there, so I'll feel it.
